So happy to find delicious certified gluten free food within an hour if my home. Coffee cake was to-die-for, Double chocolate muffin was mouthwatering. I haven’t had sweets like this since I was diagnosed celiac. I can’t wait to go back and get biscuits & pot pie and more coffee cake!

Obsessed with this place! Diagnosed celiac in May 2024, Struggled finding the good food that I used to have.
This place is incredible. I have yet to find something that I don’t like but I’m making my way across the store. I also had the pleasure of meeting JP today and he is wonderful! Fresh hot biscuits on Saturday morning, definitely worth the drive. I came from Durham!!!!!
Will also be using delivery for products! Obsessed with your goodies JP!!!!!!!

I LOVE THIS BAKERY! I wish I lived closer but it’s probably good I don’t if I did I would eat way to much and pack on the pounds Seriously though they have the best gluten-free breads, desserts, breakfast items, and meals I’ve had (other than my homemade stuff IMHO).
I really enjoy their buttermilk biscuits, Hearty Grain bread, and their desserts (I can’t really pick one over the other ).
They do offer nationwide shipping i have yet to try that but I might. I’ve been stopping here twice a year for the past 4 years.

A great bakery providing gluten free baked goods. From donuts, cakes, brownies, bread, etc., you are bound to find something you like. We found the carrot cake and red velvet cake were amazing and we’re better than non-gluten free alternatives. Lastly, you can get made to order breakfast sandwiches which is always nice if you sneak in early to do your shopping. The shop is on the smaller side, but they host a lot of options. The view from the store shows a well maintained, very clean kitchen. It is definitely worth the stop to check out their offerings.

I have always enjoyed my purchases from JP’s Bakery. Having to eat GF is expensive but usually worth the price for the occasional treat there. Yesterday was a different experience. I purchased their frozen lasagna & baked it by their instuctions. Flavor of sauce & cheese was excellent but the pasta was hard. Big disappointment, as the price was $28. Prices are not marked. You have to ask or just find out when you pay. I’ll still buy breads & sweet treats but never again will I buy “anything pasta” from there!

I just had the most amazing cinnamon roll I’ve ever eaten! A bunch of other enticing items made it into my order. Can’t wait to try them all. Definitely stopping again on my return trip.
Clean, bright store, so many delicious products to choose from. Friendly staff. I’ll be back!

Because of a carrageenan/seafood allergy, they lost a star. Nothing is made with almond flour, so that was one of the biggest reliefs!!! But there selection of breads are absolutely amazing so far!!! Their Gingersnap Sandwich is indescribable!! My wife’s review is on her channel!!

Eating gluten-free often means missing out on many traditional, flour-based foods. So while visiting family in North Carolina, discovering JPs Pastry was a delight! From desserts and breads to pastas and even full entrees, the variety was overwhelming—in the best way. I spent forever just trying to decide what to try. I eventually landed on the Key Lime Cheesecake and the Cinnamon Bun—both delicious. Honestly, I felt like I could eat everything available, which would make this place dangerously tempting if I lived nearby. Lo and behold, they ship!

We first became aware of JPs years ago when they were a vendor at a local gluten free festival. Ever since then, we have been obsessed with this bakery, which boasts being the only certified gluten-free bakery in North Carolina. While they currently wholesale their products at various local stores, we were excited to finally get a chance to visit their storefront.
The majority of the building is dedicated to their kitchen facilities. The actual store-front isn’t that large. But it was big enough to store all sorts of amazing gluten-free deliciousness! Some of the items are room-temp, while others are refrigerated or frozen. They offer everything from gluten-free chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese to cinnamon rolls and Hawaiian rolls.
The ladies working up front were friendly and personable. While a little out of the way, it is well worth the drive if you are gluten-free!!!
