If I could leave a ZERO I would.
Whomever was the manager today, or whoever answered phones today should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY.
We tried to call in an order for pick up for a company lunch. Not only was the person answering the phone disrespectful and rude, but she asked if we could be put on hold “for a brief moment”… that brief moment was 2O MINUTES… after that time we were told they weren’t taking orders… and was very rude about it..
Unacceptable way to do business.. you could have saved us 20minutes and been up front..
If I could remember her name, I’d put her on blast…
Needless to say, our company will never use Granite City or “Famous Dave’s” ever again..

We all know Famous Dave’s. This is a good one. The food was really good except the fries. They were stone cold. The staff was friendly but not overbearing. Curt was my bartender and he is a 10.

I had a very bad experience at the Waite Park Famous Dave’s yesterday. I placed a to go order. When I went to pick it up, no one helped me. I waited for probably a half hour. I figured they were busy and just didn’t have it ready. Turns out my order had been sitting the entire time, so they had to remake it.
I wouldn’t have minded had they gotten my order right. I asked for my salad without bacon, but they put bacon on anyway. Not a big deal, but I asked for no jalapenos on my BBQ nachos, so I was surprised when I bit into a hot jalapeno in my nachos. I did also ask for no chili, on the nachos, which they got right. But they left off the Wilbur beans, which I did want. The salad was also supposed to come with corn bread, which they also forgot.
On top of that, there was a hair in my salad dressing cup. Gross.
I love the food at Famous Dave’s, but man was this visit awful.

Good food with just nice proportion sizing. The sauces definitely brings out the hidden tastes of the barbequed meats along with staple Southern classics like the cornbread and catfish. Definitely can’t go wrong here!

I almost always get the burger of the month and it never disappoints. The price is always good as well. My fiancé gets the rib tips and I don’t think I’ve seen him eat anything with as much love as he eats those.

Food is always good. We should have double-checked our to go containers. We were given a bunch of wedges that wasn’t ordered. But didn’t get out beans or cold slaw.
