I found it on Google, although at first it’s not clear what type of food they offer. However, with the photos and information, you can figure it out. We ordered takeout — two gyros (one chicken) and a salad. Everything was very tasty, fresh, and generously portioned. I’m happy to discover new places like this.

Really loved everything about this place. The standouts were the flavors and the service. I had the ground chicken and it was delicious. My husband had the half lamb half chicken. I really loved the sauces that were brought with the bread, especially the tomato sauce. The service was some of the best I’ve ever had. Multiple people checked in on us and were so caring.

Hiro, our server, was warm, gracious, and very attentive which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food at Mira was excellent with highlights including the cold appetizer platter and the lentil soup which is an absolute must try. The moussaka was flavorful and the halwa dessert was truly out of this world. Tons of vegetarian options. It feels like a family run place where you cannot go wrong and it is a must visit spot for Mediterranean food in Skidman NJ.

We were really excited to try this new Mediterranean spot, but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the portion sizes for the price. We ordered the garlic chicken ($22), moussaka ($19), mixed grill ($35), and cheese breads ($10). While the food tasted good, the portions were much smaller than expected. The garlic chicken was mostly rice with just a small amount of chicken, the moussaka serving was tiny, and the mixed grill came with mostly fries and salad and very little meat.
Even though we’re not big eaters, we were still hungry after the meal. In fact, I ended up making fried rice afterward, which felt a bit frustrating (defeats the purpose of ordering takeout) after spending $86 on takeout for two adults and a child. The food itself was good, but I really hope they consider adjusting their portion sizes.

Their food is incredible!!! Top quality food, Turkish, delicious, and wonderful and attentive staff. Highly recommend. A little pricey but worth it for the quality of food! Shepard salad with chicken and the sauces with the pita bread are amazing. They make the sauces in-house. My husband doesn’t eat salad but he kept eating my salad!

Decided to swing by Mira after going for a nice drive on my day off. The restaurant is clean and the staff was super friendly and helpful in ordering.
First stop, l went for the Chicken Kabob over rice. Exceptionally delicious! Would highly recommend! Looking forward to going back and trying something else.

The food at this place was absolutely amazing. The flavors and the smells. My wife and I were in deep conversation and once the food came out and we ate, we reduced to head nods and mmmhhh noises, sounds. Definitely rivals my my best friend mom’s cooking who is Turkish. 100% recommend. The service was also prompt and friendly. When we are in town, we will be back and bring family too.

I’ve been waiting for this place to open and let me just say it was so worth the wait ! The falafel? Literally the best I’ve ever had , no joke!! The staff is so sweet and welcoming too. You can tell they really care about what they’re doing. The food tastes 100% real and authentic, like something straight from someone’s home kitchen, not just a restaurant. You ever eat something and just smile after every bite? That’s what this was. This new neighborhood treasure is absolutely worth the hype and then some. Do yourself a favor and go. You’ll be hooked !
