We absolutely love long John Silver’s but do not have one close to home anymore so we came by here half way home from vacation. It was so nice! Their chicken is so good dipped in ranch, the salty fries and malt vinergar, slaw and then hush puppies with ketchup. You can’t forget the crunchies though. Absolutely delicious!! Great service, atmosphere and food! Highly recommend

My sister and I went to this location yesterday, she ordered her food and paid and then I paid behind her, I went and got my drink then my sister went behind me. We sat down then I went to the bathroom. When I came out my sister already had her food, my first thought was wow that was quick. Well i sit there and wait on my food while my sister is eating, 20 minutes later i still hadn’t received my food so I went to the counter to ask what was going on. The girl was nice I don’t think it was her fault cause she wasn’t the one who took my order. But the reason for not having my food was “because they were waiting on fish and they wasn’t sure who it went to.” I didn’t ever receive my food because we couldn’t wait any longer. They issued a refund that is going to take 3-5 business days ( which is bullshit ) because I didn’t just return something I never received it. The girl was sweet she tried to make up for it and she did give me my side of cheese bites to take with me. Idk. I work in food and I know if we were waiting on something I would find the person to let them know. Not just sit and wait and hope the issue resolves. Paid 19 dollars for food just to not get it and then have to wait on my money to come back for days. SMH

Went to this location about two weeks ago for lunch. Placed order in drive thru, and at the window, was told only accepting credit and debit cards, no cash. When asked why, i was told due to employee theft.
If you(manager/owner) dont trust your employees with cash, do you think I’m going to trust them with my card? Takes 3 seconds to snap a pic of my cards numbers with their phone.
Needless to say, I said no thanks and left. I won’t be going back until thats changed.

Stopped here to grab a quick lunch while traveling. Bathrooms were clean, dining area looked clean, we didn’t dine in. Food was good as LJ’s always is. The girl at the counter looked like she lost her best friend. No hello or hi, no thank you, no good bye, the only words she had was ” is this for here or to go” and the total. I know it’s hard to find help but come on! Also, aren’t there uniforms anymore? A hoodie with the hood up?

Took 25 minutes getting my order food was cold. They didn’t even comp the meal they The guy working the Cash register was too worried about his girlfriend that was in the dining room to even tell the cooks to cook our food and 3 other customers had problems as well and with that being said when I addressed that it took 25 minutes to get my food the boy had an attitude needless to say they didn’t comp anything or even say sorry when I spoke to the manager.

Staff is friendly, food made to order so it may take a bit longer but will be fresh and hot. Easy access off rt 19, not much room for parking rvs and trailers. Drive through is a bit tight for my Chevy 3500 with single rear wheel and 8 foot beef.

Tues, May 23rd, 2023 was not my first visit to the Fayetteville, WV location of LJS, but it very well may be my last. After placing my order using the Drive-thru speaker, I pulled up to the window and was greeted by a female employee that I had not previously seen at this restaurant, which isn’t surprising given the high turnover rate for restaurant employees. After repeating the amount due, this particular employee who was not wearing a visible name tag, but said her name was “Teresa” when later asked (receipt indicates “Elizabeth C”), apparently thought it was a good idea to criticize my order by 1st stating “That sure is a lot of hush puppies” and then immediately following up with “Is you ‘hoongry’?” (note that the spelling is my attempt to recreate the cynical way this employee slurred the word ‘hungry’ as if I was a hillbilly fresh on a rare trip to the big city).
Now while I do not have a degree in Restaurant Management/Hospitality, I can figure out that in order to keep a business open you need customers to spend money and the more they spend in each transaction the better. Apparently this particular employee doesn’t know how a restaurant generates revenue in order to write her a paycheck, and instead thinks it’s a good idea to insult regular customers so that they take their money and spend it elsewhere. Very unprofessional! I almost just told her to cancel my order and refund the charge to my credit card, but ultimately didn’t. While I’m not sure if I’ll be returning to this particular location of LJS, I can assure you that if I encounter “Teresa” on a future visit I’ll be turning around and leaving without hesitation.

Fast and friendly service. The exterior was really cool. A modernized version of just what you would expect from a seafood place like Long John’s. Make sure you drive allll the way to the back to find the drive-thru. We almost thought they didn’t have one. Food was hot and exactly what we ordered.
