This place reminded me how good Thai food can be! I love how clean and attentive they are with their food, service and interior. The prices are reasonable for the quality so I’m absolutely coming back. I think a few of the reviews don’t give this place enough credit.

Food: the ingredients are very fresh, well prepared, and perfectly seasoned for both the green curry and khao neow moo tod. They even care to put your sticky rice in a container to prevent it from drying out – more places should do this! The roti, as others mentioned is a bit greasy, but it was still super crispy and flavorful. Someone mentioned the tap water being good, it totally is.

Interior: bathrooms, tables, menus and kitchen were all sparkling clean. This is a silly personal highlight, but they separate the sinks from the toilets so you don’t have to hog a whole bathroom to wash your hands. AND the toilets are their own rooms. Whoever owns this place has a mind for detail.

Price: great value for the level of quality and experience. I rarely feel this way about Bay Area restaurants.

Service: friendly, professional, and provided great recommendations.

1st time at Khao Thai: the service was good. Food was good with great portions (minus the spring rolls, they were cold inside, not sure if that how it’s supposed to be). The place is small so make sure to make reservations if you don’t want to wait. Friendly staff & plenty of parking. Check them out

We went around noon. There were still lots of open seats, but they sat us right beside a table that already had people at it, and the seats there were pretty close together compared to the others. This makes me feel uncomfortable. Much later, we noticed they seated a couple at a four-person table with plenty of room, which make me even more uncomfortable!

However the waitresses are attentive, take time to explain the menu, adding water frequently.

We ordered 3 dishes. The red curry sauce comes with roti is very tasty. The roti wasn’t what I expected — I was hoping for the layered kind, but it was deep-fried and quite oily. Half of it was dark while the other half looked pale.

The pad see ew with shrimp has 5 big yummy shrimps. The green vegetables are cooked just right! The flavors are sweet and a bit salty.

The Krapaw is super flavorful, and you can ask for how spicy you want it. You can either order the entrée and rice separately or get it as a rice bowl with Krapaw on top at a lower price!

As an Indian vegetarian, thai food is always our family’s first choice. We have a goto Ghai place, but this time wanted to try a new one and found this. Looking at the great reviews, we were very excited to eat here. Place is very clean and gives an upscale feel. The bar area and open kitchen gives a great modern vibe. Vegetarian menu choices are standard, so we ordered a curry, noodles and Khao Soi. We ordered medium spicy.
Order came pretty fast and we dug in. Loved the noodles (that were a tad spicy for medium), liked the Khao Soi but I’d say I have eaten better. Green curry was good as well. All in all average Thai Vegetarian options.

The food here is so good — it honestly feels like eating back home in Thailand! Every dish was packed with authentic flavor. The mocktails were super refreshing, and the Thai iced tea was perfectly balanced — not too sweet, just right.

The vibe is modern, open, and cozy at the same time. Staff were super friendly and attentive. Definitely one of my new favorite Thai spots around here!

Packaged Thai food from TJ’s is better!! . Had high hopes, but the Khao soi, and crispy pork belly were major letdowns. Only the Pla Duk Pad Ped (catfish) was good. But order medium or mild for the fish. That was the only plate with flavors. The Khao soi coconut curry was sooo blahh and I could taste the refried oil in the pork belly. We couldn’t chew some of the pieces. Horrible experience. I actually felt like throwing up after the meal. And what’s with the sticky rice?? microwaved and served in a fancy little bamboo basket with foil. It’s dry!!! How can they not get the rice correct? Ended up going elsewhere for dessert just to cleanse our palate. Seriously it was that bad!

I ordered Chicken Satay, Pad Mee, Sow Tum and a mocktail for 2 people. Full tummy with side Togo for just $67.
Sow tum is a must try, very fresh, crunchy from papaya; sweet, sour and little bitter from lime peel.
Service fast and friendly.
The chili crisp is crazy good and guess what, it’s homemade!!!
Will definitely come back again.

Nice ambience for the area and great location, close to Target, Trader Joe’s, and Sprouts. Food and service is average.

Tasty food. Generous portions. Good ambience. The staff was a bit rushed on a Saturday evening since there were a lot of people.

Visited this Place on a crowded Sunday night. Ordered red curries, pad see yew, and fried rice. Portions were generous, and the dishes had that distinct wok-hei flavor. However, the curries and fried rice lacked flavor depth and also the veggie varieties – no bamboo shoots eggplants mushrooms , cauliflowers, broccolis or baby corns we just got bell peppers 🙁

Unfortunately, won’t be returning.
