The salsa verde is awesome.
I tried the tacos authentico.. Very good.
I like the fact that none of their food is prepared TB style it’s authentic Mexican, However, they will accommodate and give you lettuce if you want it.
The food was out in a reasonable amount of time but as of all restaurants right now everybody could use some front of the house help…everything so we stacked our dishes when we were done To assist the expediency of clearing out table to help the waiter and the overworked manager whom were operating the whole front house..
We will be back soon..

I use to be a regular dedicated customer. 3 to 4 day’s a week every week.
I also still have the old and new menus. Food prices have actually doubled also way smaller portions with food I ask why the smaller portions and I was told to leave or they would call the police on me. Imagine that. why I’m no longer a customer. All other restaurants in Bessemer city is very reasonable with prices and alot bigger portions of food.

Where do I start? So I visited 9/9/2025. I ordered a quesadilla grande and one quesadilla supreme. They were both horrible. The quesadilla grande only had shredded chicken that was so dry and stiff that it was inedible. And no flavor at all. The quesadilla supreme only had some grilled peppers and onions, no meat was found. I also ordered a Nachos Supreme and to my surprise it looked like porridge soup. All the ingredients were on top of the chips which made them absorb the liquid and they turned to mush, similar to Frosted Flakes when it’s been sitting in the milk way too long. I also ordered tacos de asada. They also were no good. It was not a pleasant experience. Terrible food. Obviously the cook didn’t know what he was doing. Perhaps he called out sick that day. Who knows! I called the store soon as I got home and looked at my order. The young lady who answered the phone didn’t seem interested at all at the fact that I voiced my opinion about the quality of the food. She just tried to make excuses as if she owned the restaurant, she didn’t offer me compensation or another meal. I guess she didn’t take me seriously or just didn’t care. No fair. I paid $60.90 for this meal which I threw away in the trash bin. That is how I can describe the food. Trash. Don’t waste your money here. Go to Gastonia where they do have better Mexican food, like Tequilas, the best Mexican food you’ll ever try and the prices are decent.

A MOST pleasurable dining experience. This was my 1st time patronizing this little fondita & it certainly WON’T be my last. I had the Chicken Endiablado & it was FANTASTIC. A perfect blend of Chili powder , cumin & a few other spices I couldn’t quite get my tongue around. The perfect mixture of HEAT & FLAVOR. Everything on my plate mixed well together & also had plenty of flavor when tasted separately. Kind, attentive & professional wait staff. The atmosphere was akin to a REAL Mexican fondita. GREAT job here guys, keep up the good work & I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Anywho I’d like to make everyone aware despite the look (it needs some love) This cheese dip is THE BEST cheese dip ever, the Al pastor meat taste juicy and fresh, the chimichanga is a 10!
Rice was cooked with fresh tomatoes
Supporting small business is important and lack of food is real in Bessemer city… yall might want to give it another shot. Just for the nights you don’t want Italian

I have to make an addition to my earlier post based on the Owners comments. Folks, the meal was cold and absolutely horrible. It was cold, there was hardly anything on my fajitas plate and it came out Luke warm. The rice and beans came out 5 minutes later and they were cold. I sent the whole thing back and chose not to eat anything. The server blamed it on only having one cook and himself working yet we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time.
They didn’t even offer to get me something else, apologize for the bad experience… Nothing!
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Between the poor service, bad food and the Owner making such a comment rather than asking how they might be able to to earn my business, this establishment should just close.

The Boogeyman
We usually get take out when we eat here and are usually pretty satisfied but today we decided to eat in. So first things first, the food is good but the salsa could be better and second the wait staff isn’t the greatest. Our waiter is literally playing a video game in the next room over. I understand It’s not that busy but that’s not very professional either especially when your guest may need something. It’s been going on 20 mins and still a no show to see if we need the check, napkin, refill ect.
