Went for lunch during the week, lunch special $13 for 1 slice pizza, salad and drink. Used to love Joes about 5 years ago but portions have gone way down and prices way up. As will everything… but this time the salad was barely enough lettuce to cover the small place and it is iceberg lettuce… love the salad because of the salad dressing and this is the only time I eat iceberg but not even enough to enjoy the salad dressing. Pizza is on point. They keep it in the display case and warm it up- which is a little different. Never tried the pasta. Nice selection of foundation drink. Lunch special hours at 11am-2pm Mon-Fri.

Passed by this place a few times and wanted to give it a try. Came in around 1:45p ordered 1 pepperoni slice and a can coke. Paid over $8. After placing my order I went to the restroom to wash my hands. The hand soap was about 90% water and 10% soap at best! And no paper towels to dry my hands. That should’ve been my first sign that I made a bad decision coming here. I sit down to wait for my pizza and this is what I get. Besides the disgusting presentation, the dough was also raw. I took my slice back to the counter, the lady said to me “it just came out the oven” as if that justified what I was served. She offers my money back without any apology given, I took my money and left. I will never be back!

A CT suburb of NYC native thought I’d try it but am often cautious of “NY Style” and was worried how hard they were pushing the NY with NY by real NYers. Tables/chairs were way crowded and it was loud mostly the TVs.
In short this was my first time in 50 years where I just spitout a piece of pasta and left eating nothing.
Slice of pizza dried out and my wife commented how it seemed day old. No visible sauce or hint of red.
Baked Ziti. Not a hint of sauce visibly or by taste. Instead looked like water in the bowl with the cheese and foamy/mushy pasta.
They seemed lightly busy and folks eating in seemed happy so perhaps we just ordered the wrong things or steps were skipped and/or we got bad food. Led to a wonderful meal at a nearby place that was delicious and reminded me of home so kinda worked out.

I like to come here whenever I am in town. The pizza is next to perfect for me. I have tried a lot of pizza joints. No one can make a deep dish pizza that doesn’t leave a bad taste in my mouth. This place has consistently cooked up the perfect pizza for me each time I come here. Not too crusty, not too doughy, not too saucy, not too cheesy, full of toppings, with a mild seasoning that brings the tastes together. The guy that pounds these pizzas out, deserves credit for a great job. He obviously takes pride in it. Thanks to all of you.

Hands down the best pizza in the DFW area!
Joe’s Famous Pizza in Dallas delivers big-time with BIG slices. Their massive, thin crust NY-style slices are everything you could want in a pizza. I had the tomato & basil, and wow… just wow. The toppings were fresh, flavorful and made me want to order a whole pizza. I also tried their classic pepperoni—crispy, cheesy, and totally hit the spot. Even during the busy lunch rush, the service was impressively fast. Large, open feel, modern dining area and kitchen.
If you’re craving real-deal New York pizza, this is the place to go in DFW . Can’t recommend it enough!

Great food! Big plates and slices of pizza. The bread I had was perfect. I ordered baked ziti and it was on point. I came in during a super busy lunch time. From start to finish I was served quick. In probably 10 mins my food was out and brought to my table. They have an all you drink fountain. I went back today to try the pizza . It was a massive slice. anyhow I highly suggest this for lunch and I would say dinner if they’re open late. I will be back again ! Thanks for the Great food !

This really does taste like New York style pizza, only place I’ve been to outside of NY or NJ that I could say that. Owner even seems like a stereotypical grumpy New Yorker with attitude. I had the lobster ravioli once and it was delicious but now I mostly just get pizza

2 slice speciality was good, large thin crust NY style was cooked well. Crust had the right amount crispy crunch throughout without being dry. Just need bigger plates or serve on tray with paper, didn’t care for it touching the table when food was served.

Some of the best pizza around! I am a huge fan of their Lasagna Pizza.
The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the guy up front at the register… Customer service skills are lacking.
