Very good food. We came to this restaurant for the soup dumplings, which we enjoyed (some reviewers seem to be more critical wanting, but for us they were just fine – definitely not too thick which would be an issue for me). The pork rib entree was recommended, and we are glad we ordered them. They are not spicy but heavily spiced including cumin. They were a nice surprise and paired well with the bokchoy dish. The portions are quite good, easy to share. The staff were very helpful, and the food came out pretty quickly. I’d recommend this place to others.

Everything was really good. Per server recommendation, I ordered Big Bowl Organic Cauliflower and added tofu for extra protein. As a vegan, l was so happy to have the opportunity to add tofu to this plate. Loved the flavor and presentation. My husband ordered the Orange beef and enjoyed every bite.

We visited this newly opened Chinese restaurant yesterday. We ordered the crispy ribs and salt & pepper shrimp — both were absolutely delicious. The service was very warm and friendly. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Our server was Kaiqi, she was accommodating, very polite and very warm. We are grateful to have had her as our waitress. She was patient and answered our many questions.
We had the pot stickers with chicken and pork, Shanghai Xiao Long Bao, Mapo Tofu, & the Shanghai Gluttonous Balls with Wine Sauce. All 4 foods tasted amazing. Their items are truly authentic, the prices are definitely worth the quality and authenticity.
The atmosphere in this restaurant is delightful. Their tables are set up delightfully, it is very pretty in here. All of the music they played had wonderful, high vibes. We will be back!

So really was excited with the decor and where it’s located but for the price was disappointed. On the tv they are playing cartoons (Loud House) Nickelodeon and I’m drinking hot tea out of a glass for this price point it’s like they don’t know what they want to be. Service was really slow though staff was really pleasant. There are literally soup bowls on every table so why not give soup chopsticks are nice place settings nice nothing else matches that and that’s unfortunate.

My friend and I decided to get La Mom Kitchen for lunch today, as we’ve been excitedly waiting for it to open ever since it’s been under construction. It exceeded our expectations. The staff were lovely, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful! We split the egg rolls with chicken and the chicken lo mein and both dishes were delicious. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to enjoy some great food.

First time here. Nothing failed to impress me. This is the most authentic and delicious Chinese food I’ve had. The staff and atmosphere is so warm and wonderful. Every dish we ordered from appetizers to entrees were flavorful and homemade! The food may take awhile but it’s worth it because it is freshly made. Will definitely be coming again! I wanted to try a new chineSe restaurant that brings a cuisine style rare to Chicagoland. Sorry to break the chain of 5’s but honest to say, it Seems more geared typical Sichuan food with some Shanghai dishes. I liked the west lake fish soup but the rest of the dishes lacked something. Whether it’s the soup dumplings that lacked soup and flavor, ribs being chewy, or the fish fillet coated too much in egg yolk, they need to work out the execution of the dishes. The decor is good but why have soup bowls with all the plates as if the customer is expected to order soup. Also service was slow and keep making mistakes here and there. Won’t come back.
