Tried a margarita (yum) and taco pizza—thin and crispy crust, romaine lettuce! Anything besides iceberg is always a hit with me. Service was just right. On a later visit, I tried a chicken sandwich and coleslaw (also pretty good). Third visit was a southwest burger with fries. The fries weren’t great (too thick, not cooked enough). While the burger tasted pretty good, it didn’t sit well. The staff tries hard to please, but sometimes the food misses the mark.

They did a great job transforming this spot into a nice sports bar. LP is an unassuming Iowa Hawkeye bar offering your staple macro beers (Budweiser, Coors, Miller, Blue Moon, and Guinness) as well as some nice Iowa craft beers, seltzers, and a nice liquor selection to whip up cocktails.
For food they have burgers, pizza, sandwiches, and plenty of pub grub appetizers. The Italian Beef with a mac and cheese side didn’t disappoint!
LP’s seemed to have a decent amount of regulars and I can understand why. Quick and friendly service round out the experience nicely. I’ll definitely be back!
