Visiting from out of state, sought out a local small business for breakfast. So glad I did! Not much in the way of atmosphere or charm, but the staff were friendly and cheerful. And the food was outstanding. Everything scratch made. Biscuits and sausage gravy were great. Nice smooth gravy, perfect thickness. But the corned beef hash was a showstopper! I can’t remember the last time I had hash that good. Not overly salty or greasy, and super flavorful!
I visit Lake Dallas about once a year, and I’ll be coming back here on future visits.

I drive by here every day and never noticed this place. My loss. I had the Philly Cheese steak, was very good. There was so much there I could not eat it all. The Fries were just like I like em crunchy n soft in the middle. The staff was great. We will be back soon. I wil have to try the breakfast and will update this post. We did take home an apple pie. BUT, My kids ate it before I had a chance to taste it. They do have deli meats to take home. We will try those also.

From the moment we walked in, the gentleman behind the counter made us feel right at home — welcoming, friendly, and smiling the whole time. He took the time to walk us through the menu and offered great recommendations. My wife and I went with the Reuben and the pastrami sandwich, and man oh man… they did not disappoint. Absolutely packed with flavor and made just right.
This little spot tucked away in Lake Dallas is a hidden gem. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by — you won’t regret it. Fantastic food and even better service.

Great experience! Had a long day at work and stopped by to try for the first time. Greeted by the cooks who were happy to explain the menu. Don’t come in a rush expecting sub-par fast casual food. The sandwich took a few minutes to get ready, but it was well worth it. The portions are MASSIVE and absolutely worth the price. Nice relaxing atmosphere and overall great experience. Highly recommend this small business after a long day.

Wow…Amazing Place with Exceptional Food, Service, and Staff. I’ve had sandwiches, which were delicious, egg dishes, and their homemade soups…all delicious. And the interior is super clean, with great TVs and a giant screen to watch your favorite sport’s teams play on-screen. And the owners are both amazing dudes and one of them is a Military Veteran who served in the early 70s. And the other staff members are kind, considerate, and helpful. So….Yes this place is 5+ Stars and when you get a chance to visit, you too will greatly appreciate this Amazing Place!!!

This place is SO good! Stopped in this morning for breakfast and was greeted with friendly faces and a delicious-looking deli counter. Ordered a jalapeños bagel with egg, cheese and bacon and it was DELICIOUS! The bagel was soft and chewy, the cheese perfectly melted and the bacon crispy! Also, great amount of food for the price! Will be back!

My brother and I happened upon this spot, and decided to walk in and try it. The service was amazing, the two people working were so friendly and attentive to us! We learned they’re a local small business wanting to expand. This place is so good that they NEED to expand!! The food was so fresh tasting, I felt like I was in New York at an authentic deli. I had a bacon egg and cheese bagel and my brother had the corned beef hash. Safe to say we were very happy with our meals. Take time to stop by this place, it was so worth it and we will definitely be back!

The food and service is phenomenal! We tried the bacon egg and cheese bagel with the pumpernickel swirl bagel and it was literally THE BEST! Forget Einstein bagels – Trickler’s surpasses them 100%. There are many food options, even salads for those doing paleo or keto!

Edited to say we have gone back twice since then and they made the orders wrong both times. The second time was the owner himself and instead of just letting me leave, he needed to argue with me about how HIS sign is wrong so i am being unreasonable. His ego seemingly could not handle he made the order wrong. I didnt even ask for a refund, i just wanted to leave but apparently wasnt allowed until he could saunter around feeling superior.
Just popped in on a rough day and was blessed to find potato skins!!
The staff was sweet and helpful and the food was hot and fresh. Only thing missing was some green onions!
Cant wait to try other stuff here!

1st experience was okay only due to service, not very attentive to customers. Most food is made to order so don’t be in a hurry. The breakfast sandwich was very good in size and made with quality and tastefullness. Sadly i was not offered any dressings. I will return and give a lunch sandwich a try soon. Wish the business the best.
