The food there is very delicious and they offer large amounts for the price. While we waited for our food they brought out Bara to the table which was tasted just like home. All of the food was loaded with flavor. Absolutely love the new location and restaurant. Definitely worth trying again.

Ran into this awesome restaurant by chance and enjoyed the time there. The ambiance, vibe, and people were just awesome just as Caribbean people are known for. The food was delicious and very large portion I couldn’t finish It was a lot of rice and food, but not much meat which is the only thing I was disappointed about. Next time I’ll have a bigger appetite for more thing like my favorite snapper, oxtail, and wings. What I really wanted was curried chicken but it was finished so I got brown stewed chicken. The cost of meals are very reasonable so you’ll get a good portion for your money. Staff are courteous and friendly. Love the vibe and atmosphere. Will be back for sure. Yes, I recommend checking it out.

Beautiful inside, clean, and staff was attentive and friendly. While we waited for our food we got complimentary bara, which was really good. For our entrees we got pork fried rice, pepper steak fried rice and chicken soup. Large portions enough for two meals. Everything was tasty and fresh. My toddler got the lunch special which came with a lot of food for the price. Highly recommend.

I’m not a person who normally give reviews butttt i had to.This is the absolute BEST Caribbean restaurant in Schenectady. The food is nothing short of bursting flavors . The staff members are very understanding and took great care of me and my husband when we visited. The atmosphere just gives that original Caribbean vibe which i love. Make sure you visit this place!

So this was my first time here. I chose this spot randomly because they had calamari which i love and I was visiting the Schenectady area. Anyway, I treated my dad & his fiance to lunch. We came after the carnival. My dad & his fiance were the only ones who liked their food. I did not like mine or my drink. The service was OK. So, this rating is based on my food specifically and my time there. Other than that, I’d say its pretty chill and the scenery is nice.

Bang Mary (fish) has no taste. Seems like it’s only seasoned with flour, salt and pepper. Basically got 1 whole plantain that cost couple cents for $8. Also ordered a drink that I never received. So yeah, the experience was not great. If I had to choose a restaurant I would not come because of the under 4 stars reviews but I came with a few people. Needless to say, I Would not return.

Came all the way from Queens and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything was amazing especially the fried rice and pepper shrimp. The staff was kind and understanding throughout. Overall it was a great experience.

I was going to give it a lower rating because of the wait time but it was so worth it. The food tastes so fresh and the portions were huge. I didn’t even get to eat 1/4 of the food. The drink was also not watered down. If you’re not in a rush and not starving and can wait for some really good fresh tasting food I definitely recommend it. I also like the Caribbean music playing. It makes you feel like you’re in a vacation somewhere.
Update: Years later everytime we go we know we need to not go there hungry and to just be patient. Food is still great

The food is good no doubt nice place. However the staff is rude as rude as it gets. No customer service, they completely ignore you standing there, wait for food over 1 hour then can’t find your order. Tried to talk to the staff she is rude no hell and walking away. The owner needs to check his staff. Makes no sense you have a beautiful establishment and no good staff.
