I’ve been here several times but the servers were busy taking selfies talking, exceptionally loud, and the server lady and busboy were arguing and the guy was threatening to hit her with a mop, and I ordered soup but no soup, maybe some adults to manage the place on a Saturday at 1245 pm would be nice. With no one in the place you would think the server would remember an order. Typical Fort Collins restaurant, no care for the customer. I mean 50 bucks for a grilled cheese and 2 burgers is steep. Sadly I won’t be back.

One of my favorite patios in the city, this place has great portions and quality food, I highly recommend the mountain cafe omelette and the chicken fried steak, it’s the perfect cozy breakfast spot. I’ve had nothing but great service here and will keep coming back.

Cute breakfast diner with good basic food. We got the specials and enjoyed them. The coffee is fine, nothing special. Cute back patio with lots of shade. Did offer some gluten free options.

Highly recommend! I went with my husband this morning for breakfast. We were just strolling the strip and found this online. Just 2 blocks off the main drag. Great diner vibe. Flavorful food and awesome service! Good specials and lots of options. Food is very reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

Mountain Cafe is such a hidden gem! This homey diner is the perfect place to grab some delicious home cooked breakfast or brunch in a cozy environment. Our family came to celebrate my brother Nathan’s graduation and the staff was so kind and accommodating of our big group. Our server Sandy took the time to get to know who each member of the family was, and my brother was greeted with a round of applause as he entered the cafe. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The perfect diner food for a Sunday morning. We were looking for some place we hadn’t been before, and near our Airbnb, and saw this on Google Maps. So glad that we did. It’s small, and they were short staffed, but they worked hard and made sure everyone was taken care of.

I got the scrambler. It was so good. The perfect amount of greasy and heavy after a weekend of a few too many. We will definitely be back!

Classic greasy spoon diner. I got the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it delivered.

I’m gonna be honest – I’m not the hugest fan of greasy spoon diners usually. So I was very pleasantly surprised coming to Mountain Cafe for the first time today and thoroughly enjoying everything about it. This is basics done at a very high level, and for a very attractive price. Don’t be like me – don’t sleep on Mountain Cafe. Will be back!

Waited over two hours to never even get our food; it took them 35 minutes to even come take our order. Granted it was graduation season so we expected a long wait with a party of 4; however, the service we received was unacceptable. We were sat right away in a back corner with maybe 4 other parties in the entire restaurant. Once our server finally took our order (35 minutes after being sat) we assumed she would be back with drinks somewhat soon. I had to personally go find the server and ask for our drinks (waters and 2 black coffees) again and asked a time estimate on when the food would be ready because I was worried we had been forgotten about. Our server reassured us the food would be right out. Over the 2.5 hour span of us being there I had to ask the server 4 times to check on our food as the restaurant filled up. every time she would say the food is “almost ready” and offered me a cinnamon roll to which I politely declined. We ended up leaving with no food after I had to argue with the server to even get the bill for the two coffees. Bad communication between staff and overall an experience that made me never want to come back

My 6 year old nephew and I came here this morning for brunch. Great little place. Food was delicious, hot and fresh. My nephew had the breakfast scrambler but with a fried egg from the kids menu and enjoyed it so much that he didn’t say a word until he was finished. I had the ham and eggs which was delicious as well. Awsome atmosphere with great friendly service.(the new waitress, Sony and the cook) The cook came out and asked how our food was. We also got a free chocolate chip cookie to go. We definitely will be coming back!
