Today was my first time visiting this quaint little restaurant. It doesn’t disappoint the theory that the hole in the wall restaurants are the best. I had great quick service. The food was fabulous. The lady that ran the counter today was a bright, driven, and amazing college student that offers wonderful conversation while your food is prepared. I can’t wait until I have time to go back. I got my food to go,but I wouldn’t mind eating in.

The environment is great! They make anyone feel welcomed. The food is too good to describe. Wings on point, ribs tender, cornbread isn’t dry, sweet tea hits the spot, desserts…don’t even get me started. Great place to come enjoy a good laugh, meal, and story!!!

This was truly a great place to eat. First we ordered the catfish, pork chop with greens, corn on the cob and potato salad. Which was all great. I had the red kool-aid with lemonade in it was delicious and the hubby had the tea. Customer service was also great and warm.

The food is absolutely amazing! Closet thing to home cooked meals in clarksville. The sweet tea is Soooo good and the desserts were good as well ! I had the meatloaf and that was awesome! He can really throw down in the kitchen. Cant wait to go back.

Wednesday was The Big Tim Burger for lunch, Oxtails (me) and Chicken and Dumplings (hubby) for dinner. Today it was a variety: Rib Tips, Gumbo, Chitterling Dinner, and catfish sandwiches. So far there’s been nothing my family or myself hasn’t loved. On Wednesday the gentleman who usually would have made the oxtails was out due to illness. Ms. Doris (?) took over the cooking of the dish and was so worried she may not have done as well as he would so I was a little worried too, but let me say they were the best oxtails I’ve had ( beating Morris and Daley’s in Chicago and a few of my folks hands down)! The staff and customers are all great. The food really is home cooking and the atmosphere is as if you’ve stopped by Mama’s house for supper. And nowhere else in town will you get as much for the price. Bottom line , if you haven’t made it to Pat’s yet you need to be on your way, they open at 10.
