Friday night wine and food tasting, excellent but very laid back, definitely not a professional wine tasting, nonetheless, tasty food pairings and nice wines for $49. Good time with friends and great live music after 7 pm. You need to make reservations and it’s a good idea to valet park.

A flash storm rolled in with high winds and rain but we were able to take shelter in the Lounge. We had a great time listening to the live music and enjoyed the cocktails. They primarily serve sushi on the menu, it’s made fresh by the chef inside the lounge. Best place at the Orchid Hotel to watch the sunset and have a drink!!!

Best kept secret in all of Hawaii! The sushi is better than Michelin star experiences -extremely fresh local fish, generous portions, live Hawaiian music, and incredibly attentive, honest, and warm staff. Oh and a sunset viewing point only seen in the movies! We dined here 3 nights in a row! (And we are extremely picky when it comes to eating out). The texture of all the sashimi and sushi is soft, melts in your mouth, and does not have a fishy smell or taste. It tastes like the fish was caught only a few hours ago. It’s divine.
Big shout out to Josh for honest recommendations, friendly conversation, and most importantly – never feeling rushed nor forgotten about.
The lounge vibe feels relaxed, yet so magical with the breathtaking views and airy openness. We feel lucky to have had the opportunity to dine at Luana Lounge 3 times! Don’t miss this jewel! It’s worth the trek if you’re not staying at the Fairmont Orchid too.
We will be back to the Fairmont Orchid for this sushi experience as well as the 7 star experience all around.

Food was great!! I really like their chirashi don and came back a second time at the end of our trip. The fish was fresh and also uses real wasabi! Their salmon roll is pretty good too but the cake was just ok. During the evening they have live music performance and it made the experience really enjoyable

They had some good happy hour deals the food was tasty and bar tender was an awesome guy. They had a pool table in the middle of the room it was a great atmosphere. I would definitely like to come back here again.

The food and service were excellent. The music was nice and the sunset was fantastic. Waiting for sunset can get a little hot since the sun is basically blasting you in the face. I’d recommend a hat.

The absolute worst experience at the resort. It took over an hour and a half to get appetizers for our table. Unless we hunted the waitress down she didnt acknowledge our table. We didnt even get the opportunity to order dinner.

Sushi was great, music and atmosphere also good. Had to go to bar for a second drink as we never saw our server again and plates were never cleared. Definitely not a 5 star experience for what the Fairmont charges, although this has become the norm with them.
