About my 5th time coming here for food. Didn’t leave a review yet because it’s not really my modus operandi. But I have to now since the quality of food, service and ambience has been so consistent. Very impressed with the quality of ingredients and the quality of service. Family ran, great pasta, great steaks and looking forward to becoming a regular here and try every one of their dishes. Highly recommend. In my humble opinion, one of the best restaurants in swords.

Delicious chicken wings, very nice place. The garden at the back is a lovely place to chill in. Duck leg falling off the bone and the potatoe gratin absolutely awesome. Really nice selection of wine and it really felt calm and welcoming. Not many restaurants that still use tableclothes anymore so that was a nice touch for a special dinner. Would come again to try the pizza.

Dont go when its busy…kitchen can’t cope. We had to wait over 50 minutes for our food. We’re told it takes that long due to the need to cook a filet steak for 25 minutes for well done! 25 minutes for a steak! We ordered pizza and pastas for 5. The food was OK…the pizza was bland and so were the lasagne, bolognese and carbonara….the waiting for it was not. It shouldn’t take 50 min.for a pizza. Won’t be returning….not sure why it’s rated so high…
So according to this restaurant, their work policy is to penalised the customers for not having starters. In a proper restaurant the kitchen team would have noted such and ensure the customer are served on a timely manner…not to be grouped with other customers who choose to have a starter…
Having pizza and pastas brought out first is not an option as that’s just rude for the guess with the steak to not eat!!!!

Absolutely recommend this restaurant, staff were exceptional and the food absolutely gorgeous ! We will be back to try more things out of the menu We got the Chianty for the wine, it was lovely. We had the steak, lamb shank and pizza, everything we got was well presented and very good. Highly recommended

Tonight had my sister’s birthday dinner at Wine House Restaurant. Food was tasty and service was outstanding. It was my first time there tonight but definitely not the last one.
