This is kind of a hidden gem. Amazing food with nice people and it feels like you’re invited into someone’s home. Really great food!

Best yaki mandu I have had since I was in South Korea. Loved the bulgogi, too. Easy to order, and the workers were very friendly. Will be back for sure.

It was the first time I came here, my daughter kept insisting we come so we finally did. It’s very small and you have to order at the kitchen window. There is no wait staff so you have to clean your table when you’re done. But the food is good.

Often imitated, but never duplicated. This place is universally known to have the most authentic and delicious Korean food in the area. The market offers a wide variety of goods, food, and drinks.

This place is really good considering San Antonio is not a major Korean hotspot.
not going to cover all the foods;
really good hot stone bibimbap – best dish of the restaurant in my humble opinion;
good ramen – one should never order Korean ramen in stores because it’s easy to make it at home, but sometimes you can’t avoid it;
japchae is solid;
not on menu – duk mondu guk – solid;
spicy seafood with noodles – solid
also consider – bulgogi, galbi, pork bulgogi

Wasn’t sure what to expect based on some recent reviews, but was very pleasantly surprised! We were passing through San Antonio for a night and wanted some Korean food and found this market and restaurant. Decided to give it a try and got a jjajangmyun to share. It was very tasty! Noodle had good chewy texture and sauce was flavorful. Wanted to try some of the other dishes like the spicy pork belly but had no room.
It’s a small space, very casual. You order at the front and get your own water and utensils. Food came out pretty quickly and it came with some side dishes of kimchi. Overall, great experience, would definitely come back if I’m ever in the area.
