So my girlfriend asked if we could go to Paella Seafood this past Friday. I have seen this place many times but we have never went. Unbelievable!!!
I couldn’t decide what I wanted to have as I’ve never had paella before, she’s from Europe and promised me I would like it, she already knew she wanted the Seafood Paella. I like to try new dishes, so I was excited.
We arrive and im looking at their menu, and was on the fence about Seafood as I wanted something different so the other signature option, Traditional Lamb Chop Paella… ok was this going to be a disappointment? I don’t like lamb, I want to like lamb but I’ve only had it good once so I’m a bit unsure.
In talking to our server I asked if the lamb was good and she promised me it was exceptionally good. So I went for it.
When the server came back to ask me how it was, I was excited to tell her I was blown away. I couldn’t believe how delicious this dish was. In talking to her not only did I find out she was in fact from Spain, but her and her husband are the owners, and he has been a chef in Spanish and French cuisine for over 25 years. She explained to me how picky they are in choosing their ingredients, from the fresh herbs to meats. Can’t wait to go back. One thing Mainers, the Paella comes crispy on the bottoms, ITS SUPPOSED TO BE! It isn’t over cooked!
She did tell me people send it back because its over cooked, missing out.
Can’t wait to go back!

I finally tried Paella Seafood after hearing so many great things, and it completely lived up to the hype. I ordered the seafood paella, and it came to the table sizzling hot, packed with shrimp, mussels, and calamari. The rice was perfectly seasoned and had that amazing depth of flavor that only comes from slow cooking. Every bite tasted fresh and authentic, just like the paella I remember having in Spain. The staff were kind and attentive, making the whole meal feel special. The portions were generous too—I left full and happy. This is definitely my new go-to spot for seafood in Portland.

Wow. This place is a hidden gem. Everything we ordered came out fast and delicious. Even the fries were amazing. Crispy and seasoned with their special seasoning. The paella had fresh mussels and shrimp jn it. The sea scallops were perfectly cooked. The lobster roll was full of chunky meat. I love to find the “off the off beaten path” where the locals dine type of places.

Amazing place! It’s the most delicious spot we’ve tried here, and absolutely worth the price! Every dish feels unique in flavor. We had the best lobster roll compared to other places in downtown — the bread, sauce, and lobster were all prepared in a truly chef-crafted way. It’s really special!

Just enjoyed a fantastic Tuesday dinner at Paella Seafood with a group of five, arriving around 7:15 PM. First impressions were great: the place is roomy inside, and finding parking was easy thanks to the large lot. Our waiter and waitress were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

This is an awesome place. This was the 1st time I tried an authentic Spanish (from Spain) restaurent. The food was amazing and so delicious. There were many different dishes I hadn’t tried before. The lamb I had was one of the softest I have ever had. Great atmosphere, so spacious. I’ll surely visit again, when I visit Portland again.

We drove from New Hampshire to get a lobster roll and found this place. It did not disappoint! Loved the sauce that came as a side with both the roll and the fried calamari, and the beet and goat cheese salad was also delicious.

So happy to have stumbled across this restaurant!! We were greeted warmly when we arrived for a late dinner on Sunday evening. We ordered two dishes to share, both came out quickly and piping hot. The grilled octopus was incredible and the paella was also delicious — so well seasoned and with fantastic seafood. Food came out super quickly too. We got to chat a little with the chef’s brother; he was friendly and the service was excellent. Highly recommend stopping by if you get the chance!!
