Great lil restaurant for as a brunch spot. Good atmosphere for family friendly and a date setting. Has a nice modern forward antique vibe.
Food was delicious and came in a reasonable time for a brunch full house. Needs reservation in advance if going with a party > 2.
Got banana bread (powdered sugar on top, and a spreadable slightly sweet buttery spread on the side), the pancakes (better than the average diner pancakes), and huevos rancheros.
I wish the entry area wasn’t so close to the tables that are next to it. When it’s winter time and you sit next to the entry way, you’ll feel the breeze if there is one.

The food was amazing! Burgers / sandwiches are juicy with a delicious sauce. Eggplant Milanese is an interesting one. The staff are friendly and professional. The ambient lighting makes it feel cozy and inviting! The only thing I would change is the noise level; especially at time of our visit, the music was loud and so it made people talk louder and the whole space got very chaotic (in the staff’s defense, they apologized for it). Otherwise, cute place with good people !

Voted as one of the top places for Brunch in Boston according to some influencer on IG. I ABSOLUTELY love the interiors here. My Eggs Benedict eggs weren’t poached/runny… again I only mention because if you like yours runny you will need to make a point to ask. Next up my friend ordered fresh fruit with yogurt… the bowl came with a ‘bed’ of yogurt and delicious tasting fruit on top, the issue is the yogurt cost $5.00 as a side… you definitely should get more than a smear LOL BTW everyone agreed that they enjoyed their meal once we got things straightened out.

Other friend ordered scrambled eggs with steak and they were kind enough to accommodate this request however, we received egg whites not scrambled eggs with yolk included Whew! I was embarrassed as I usually do my research before selecting a location and this one kept falling short.

The management came over and addressed everything and even gave us some of their outstanding banana bread… which I highly recommend.

Street parking is available with a time limit so you need to be mindful of this.

Respectfully Reviewed.

If you’re on the fence about brunch at Waverly Kitchen I’d say it’s definitely worth eating at least once.

They have a good mix of breakfast and lunch items and everything I tried was delicious and good value. Parking can be a bit tricky on the street but overall a solid brunch spot with friendly staff in a cute, cozy spot in Charlestown. Reservations can get booked so try 1.5-2 weeks in advance for peak brunch times.

This is one of my favorite brunch places in Boston. Although we had a reservation, we still had to wait around 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. The place is a bit small which is why it gets crowded. It is very nicely decorated and loved the vibe. For brunch, we shared Turkish eggs, eggs benedict and French toast. The eggs benedict and French toast were amazing, especially the latter. As for the Turkish eggs, the dish was overall good but is not what you would expect when you order Turkish eggs, as it barely had any yogurt in it.

Great spot for brunch! We ordered two meals and split them, which explains the plating in the photos. The eggs Benedict with sausage was a standout—perfectly prepared and highly recommendable. The side potatoes, however, could have used a bit more time to crisp up; they were a little too soft and slightly oily. The French toast was tasty as well, though definitely on the sweeter side—less jam and lemon on top might have balanced it better. I also tried the Guava Lava cocktail, which was delicious and perfect for anyone who enjoys spicy margaritas or bold, flavorful drinks. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be coming back!

I got the bowl with salmon. It was very tasty. We did not have reservations but we were told that we could have the table until 6:15, so we decided to stay. But at 5:55, the waitress was coming over and clearing our table and bringing our check. Finally at 5:58, she told us she needed our table. But the food was good.

Good food and service! Very loud in the dining room. We had the chicken sandwich and burger. The fries weren’t hot, but still good.

Update (6/17/25): ordered the burrata pasta and a side grilled chicken breast for delivery. Wow!!! So delicious. This will definitely be a regular takeout/delivery order.

I’ve been craving buttermilk pancakes for weeks, despite not typically being a fan of heavy breakfasts, and I finally remembered a friend had highly recommended this spot.

From the moment I arrived, everything was impressively seamless from charming entrance, warm and accommodating hosts to seasoned and efficient waitstaff and prompt service, even amid the weekend morning rush.

The food was excellent: generous in portion, thoughtfully prepared, and of commendable quality. Although the meal leaned toward the indulgent side, it didn’t feel overwhelmingly heavy; rather, it was satisfying in a comforting, balanced way.

That said, one considerable drawback was the excessive noise level. Interestingly, it wasn’t due to blaring music, as is often the case, but rather the patrons themselves. The volume of conversation around me felt unusually amplified—particularly a woman at the next table who seemed to be delivering a public address without a microphone. While I’ll refrain from speculating aloud why certain guests seemed to lack social restraint, it did affect the ambiance noticeably.

Despite the auditory chaos, the overall experience was delightful. I look forward to returning, ideally on a quieter weekday when the atmosphere might be more serene.
