I recently visited Plainfield Gyro & Deli and had the pleasure of trying their Falafel Gyro made with authentic Greek ingredients. It was an absolute delight! The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. It was paired beautifully with fresh veggies and creamy tzatziki sauce. The pita was hand-made, brought from Greece, and warm and soft, wrapping everything together just right. I had it with their special Spicy Feta & Tzatziki sauce, which added a delightful kick. You could really taste the quality and care put into each bite. Plainfield Falafel Gyro is a hidden gem in Plainfield, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving a delicious Mediterranean bite!

I had a great experience here! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was inviting and clean, making it a comfortable spot to sit and enjoy a meal. What really stood out was the excellent service—the staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole visit even better. On top of that, the wait time was impressively quick—I got my food in under ten minutes, which was a pleasant surprise. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and look forward to coming back to!

Went out yesterday to meet some friends- first time having a gyro in Plainfield! I started with the saganaki bites as an appetizer, just the right touch of honey to balance the cheesy goodness. I couldn’t resist trying the portokalopita (orange cake) before my entrée, the handheld beef & lamb gyro. Wow, the tzatziki sauce was incredible! It really brought the whole gyro together. You’ve got to try it for yourself. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Very friendly staff and owners! I had the beef and lamb gyro and it was amazing, great flavor and the tzatziki sauce was the best I’ve had! The saganaki bites were also really cheesy and delicious and a lightly sweet giving both a sweet and savory taste. I will definitely be returning and recommending to all my friends!

The food is very fresh and authentic . The customer service was impeccable even with a language barrier between myself the customer and the employee. A great menu and amazing prices for the portion size they give . I ordered the platter with extra peta and rice , best decision I’ve made for lunch in a long time ! I will be back .

My friends recommended this new Greek restaurant so we decided to check it out… so glad we did! The food was delicious and the portion generous. My kids are very picky eaters, so when they say 5 stars you have to believe it. We had lamb and beef gyro, chicken souvlaki, pork souvlaki, and sausage. Everything was cooked to perfection. The place is nicely decorated and very clean. Good service too. Will definitely go back!
