10/10 recommend this place for Punugulu. We went with no expectations whatsoever and were happy.
Plenty of seating. There’s a tv for entertainment. Sprinklers for the hot weather. Vibe was good.
Will be back to try some more items.
Edit: Tried bhel puri and noodles, they were only Ok. Tea was milky.

I ordered the cut mirchi and the street noodles with chicken, everything has been filled with flavor and completely enjoyable but warning I enjoy spicy food. If you have never tried new flavors from around the world this place is a great spot to start at even if you need to google everything on the menu

I did veg takeaway twice with them this past week and it was very delicious. Perfect Indo Chinese spot. I had ordered street style noodles , sezchwan fried rice and veg Manchurian balls. They WERE NOT oily, slimy, undercooked, too much spices in it. It reminded me of a good Indo Chinese meal that I order in Chennai,TN,India! They are properly priced for the quantity. Can be shared. The timing that they gave us was v prompt. Nice and hot until I brought home and ate. I request them to open up one more restaurant around roundrock area.

We Senior Citizen couple from India had nice morning today at Desi hangout in Austin Texas USA. let me say first the ambiance with impressive greenery having lot of grown up trees ,seating arrangements around such ambience is wonderful experience.
We have enjoyed tasty and tasty breakfast combo Puri potato curry,idli and Dosa with mouth watering chutneys.
We felt as we are in famous Andhra restaurant. Memorable experience making to come here again and again.

Vibes are immaculate! Takes you to indian village atmosphere. Evening Snacks are all pretty good! Indo Chinese was good too but some of the dishes had egg smell specially for someone who are sensitive to smell. Otherwise it’s a must try!!

1) Punugulu 2) Mirchi Bajji 3) Pav Bhaji 4) Veg Noodles
5) Pani Puri 6) Schezwan Veg Friedrice 7) Schezwan Chicken Noodles 8) Mysore Bonda 9) Masala Dosa
Its overall food taste is 3/5. We liked schezwan noodles and mysore bonda. The rest of them stand average. I see a lot of oil in most of the food, especially Veg Noodles.

It’s a great place for hanging out in the evening with trees around. Food is good & friendly staff. Hopefully the taste remains same.
Only disappointment is the flies around. They can take a better care by some electric fly zappers. At one point, with too many flies around making people not comfortable eating over there.
