Great tacos! Had the carnitas and vegan tacos and they were delicious. Well cooked and very flavorful. Also enjoyed the chicken taquitos, had a nice crunch and generously portioned. Chips and guac good too. Employees were kind and welcoming. Would recommend this place if craving Mexican food.

We’ve heard that Taco nano was pretty good, so we decided to check it out today. Tbh, we were disappointed. We ordered 2 steak burritos, guacamole, and elotes. The steak burritos came out cold, steak over cooked, and so dry. They looked good, but def didn’t taste it. I can’t lie, the guac and elotes were very tasty. I really wanted to love this place. We def won’t be back.

Nano Taco has been a beloved local spot for years, and its name perfectly captures what makes it unique. Their tacos are delightfully small, allowing you to try two, three, or even four different flavors in one sitting. It’s a fun way to explore a variety of tastes without overcommitting to just one option.
My personal favorite is the carne asada, though today it had a few too many raw onions for my liking. That said, the tacos al pastor are fantastic, and their guacamole is a must-try—it’s fresh, flavorful, and pairs well with everything.
Each taco costs around $4–$5, so a meal of three tacos comes to about $15. It’s an affordable price point, especially since you can adjust your order depending on your appetite. Not too hungry? Start with just one or two.
The space itself is simple but very clean, and the larger tables mean you might end up sharing with others. Many locals opt for takeout, which is also a great option if you’re in a hurry.
In short, Nano Taco is worth a visit. The food is consistently good, the prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes make it easy to customize your meal. Definitely give this place a try, and don’t skip the guacamole!

I like majority of their tacos they are great but the steak tacos are very dry. The reasoning is that they cook them in the morning and when you order one they reheat the meat. I asked if they could cook a steak taco to order so the steak would not be dry and they said no. I prefer a place that cooks their steak to order and not to reheat it.

A very simple menu, slightly pricey for what you get but does make your heart feel great. Visited with family and voila they had one vegetarian taco option. Unlucky not to taste their margaritas, their so called very hot salsa was actually a spicy one.

I have loved Taco Nano and been a long time customer since they opened. The other day when I went the service was unexpected and the fish was not fully cooked. My husband waited for 15 minutes before someone asked if he was waiting for something. A young teenager gave the order without an apology for the wait or anything. So the tacos were cold by the time we ate. Fine, who hasn’t had a cold taco before? However, the fact that the fish was raw was the part that was unacceptable. I spit out part of it as I couldn’t figure out why it was so chewy… Not only has their portions gotten smaller over time, but it doesn’t even taste as good as it did before they made expansions and did all their renovations. The raw fish is the reason that I can’t do Taco Nano anymore.
Oh also, we were told that we would be refunded. But it’s been almost 3 weeks and that hasn’t happened.

Catered a party for work with 35 guests. The food and service were great, Pablo and Andrea worked with me to create a great menu and were wonderful in serving our guests. Estrella and Manolo (bartender) were also friendly and professional. I highly recommend using them for any at home event. They bring decorated taco carts and beautiful serving pieces to really create a Mexican fiesta atmosphere!

Taco Nano is a solid taco joint in the North Shore. Are they the best tacos? No. Are they the worst? No. Are they reasonably priced? Maybe. The guacamole was good and the green sauce had too much lime. There is another sauce that is not the green or red sauce that was pretty good. The rice was good and was served in a small casuela that was cute. They provide you with a number on a lotería card which also helped with the restaurants character. The tacos were ok and didn’t leave a lasting impression. I’m big on either tasty meat or very good sauce. Taco Nano was middle of the road on both. Maybe they are playing it safe for their Northshore clientel. The spot is pretty small but the decor adds some character to the restaurant. If your in the area, it’s a decent place for tacos. But don’t go out of your way to eat there.
