We tried this little gem yesterday and we’re not disappointed. All 6 of us were so pleased with the food that came to our table. The service was wonderful and the portion sizes were HUGE. It was so very hard to decide what to order off of the Fairly unique menu. We will have to go back so that we can try more of the items that we did not get to order. If you have not tried this little restaurant, you really must!

We were looking for somewhere nearby to take a lunch break. Typed in what type of food we were looking for nearby and La Oaxaquen̈a popped up. Drove by it the first time because I did not have directions on. The entrance is on the side of the building under other businesses. Great lunch specials. Very tasty and plentiful.

The tacos I had were really good. The salsa that comes with chios is standard tomato bases sauce. The spicey sauce that you can order as an appetizer is amazing!! The street tacos were great too. I had the cecina tacos and they were very good. The green salsa did not have much flavor, but I would definitely go here again to try more food.

Very colorful place. The service is great, the chips are not real thin, and the salsa is good.

We also ordered Oaxaca Dip. I have no idea what that is but it is good..

Monica had a cheese enchilada and one with mole sauce, which was great!!! It also came with a chicken chimichanga that did not disappoint. The beans and rice were also very good

I had carne asada street tacos. They were good but did not have as much seasoning as I would have liked.

Overall I could see this as our go to Mexican joint, though we have just moved down this way and have a few others to try out.

Came here for lunch with my husband. I got the verde tamales and he got the chori pollo. His chorizo was great and not too greasy, chicken was fresh and the homemade corn tortillas were delicious. My tamales were the right amount of spicy, and the fresh mesa was fantastic. Complimentary chips and salsa were also really great! Will be coming back for sure

I placed an order from DoorDash and accidentally placed it twice. They called me to double check on that immediately (which was the start of our excellent customer service). The FOOD!!!! It was amazing! The taquitos, salsa, tamales and (something new to us) tlayuda were fantastic! I have an onion allergy and they even wrote a note about how the food was cooked on the box. 12/10!!!

I loved the tamales and carnitas. The menu has a wide variety of unique dishes to try. Definitely worth a return visit. Parking is easy, but the entrance is down the side of the building.

A hidden gem in SoCo. We had sopes and empanadas for dinner and left with enough for another meal. The Oaxacan Dip was tasty as well. Anytime we can get great Mexican food, margaritas, and enjoy the environment is a win. This place has all three. We have been back twice.
