This Starbucks is one of the best options in Long Beach for remote working with a laptop, with access to reliable wifi, power outlets, restroom and coffee refills.
The staff here are very friendly and they are the highlight of this Starbucks!
This location would really benefit from a facelift and a deep clean. It often feels very overwhelmed, sticky, it can smell unclean, and the restroom is in very bad shape and always dirty.
A corporate investment in touching up paint/decor/updating the furniture, along with a professional deep clean and a bathroom renovation would genuinely make a huge difference for the Long Beach community and would give the awesome staff a better environment to serve out of.

I don’t know what’s the problem with the coffee, it maybe it is to dark rosted but I have to throw my capuchino to the garbage. I used to go to the other location by park and the taste was better. The place is nice and the chairs very confortable but the coffe not much. It would be nice if they check the type of beans and the rosted.

Unfortunately sometimes we all have to order off a delivery app….it seems to me that all these restaurants including now Starbucks has an unwritten policy….basically who cares what the customer orders because they aren’t here to complain and furthermore they’ll complain to the app and get compensated. So a white mocha latte was ordered….they send me a regular chocolate mocha latte….the drink is supposed to have 3 shots of espresso….this has zero. I drink espresso daily and this drink they sent me absolutely has zero coffee in it. Not only do you charge me $10+ for a drink…you mess it up so badly it could only have been done on purpose. Was it too time consuming to pull 3 espresso’….I hope a manager reads this and investigates how many orders from delivery apps get complained about….its a direct reflection on your employees and you as a manager. If you aren’t paying attention to the apps and how often things are made incorrectly…..you think your employees are doing a great job. The truth is they know, they are smarter than management and can get away with cutting giant corners when it comes to fulfilling app orders.

I am only giving 1 star because my 5 star people AJ and Jocelyn were not there this morning. I dealt with a very rude girl who had no idea what good customer skills are. I hope AJ and Jocelyn are still there because I won’t be coming back anymore if they aren’t. AJ and Jocelyn are the best; but I didn’t deserve the rude treatment from that girl this morning.

Sunday afternoon, I stopped by this location and had one of the worst Starbucks experiences I’ve ever had. The cashier was unhelpful and borderline rude. I asked for an Iced Cappuccino with oat milk, and she flat out told me, “We don’t make that here and I can’t even ring that up.” No offer to help, no suggestions just attitude. So I asked for an Iced Doppio instead.
Of course, the barista messed up the order and used half & half instead of oat milk. I tried to get his attention he clearly heard me and completely ignored me. He saw me calling him and turned his back on me. I went back to the cashier, and she also pretended I wasn’t standing right there.
To top it off, when I reminded her it’s called an Iced Doppio, she smugly replied, “Well maybe you should remember next time.”
Seriously, I’ve never been to a Starbucks where the staff was this dismissive and unprofessional. Way to go, Starbucks. I hope the cameras can help.

This place is disgusting. Brand new location that they just moved into and there is nothing good about this place. They clearly do not have enough employees working. The cashier told us there would be a 30 minute wait to get our drinks. After finally getting our food and went to go sit down, every single table was absolutely filthy and looks like it was never cleaned. After eating, we go to throw out our trash and the garbage can was completely filled to the top and was leaking coffee at the bottom. Such a terrible experience for a new establishment. I would rather drive the extra 5 minutes to island park and have a much more pleasant experience. Safe to say I will not being going back to this location.

Made me wait almost an hour for just two cups of coffee. We kept asking where our order was, but no one helped us. They only asked for our name and order, then left us waiting for nothing. Then one of the employees said, “Maybe someone took your drinks?” Seriously? We were standing right in front of the pickup area the entire time after paying!
Turns out the cashier didn’t even print the order, which is why it never came out.
No one apologized. Then another staff member the one with curly hair, who clearly had no idea what was going on —said it was just a busy day, so we had to wait. Excuse me, but not for an hour! Why don’t you double-check where the problem is before yapping?
Never coming to this Starbucks again.

Worst customer service ever brought drinks that were horrible not one but 3 times and still couldn’t get it right. Well deserved bad review. No wonder there was no line. Went right to Island Park that Starbucks resolved the problem.
