This place is a 10/10. Everything on the menu is made from scratch and it shows. I had the spicy fish and chips and it was fantastic. I don’t know what that special spicy sauce is, but they need to bottle that and start selling it. Bar is fully stocked and the tap beers were authentic. A highly recommended stop!

I have been here several times and it’s always amazing. Today, my family and I went to their Bridgerton themed tea and it was AMAZING! The food, the decor, the music were all fantastic. We had such a good time!

Wonderful meals and cocktails! We had onion rings with ketchup curry sauce and for dinner my son enjoyed the fish and chips and I loved the Coq Au vin Blan pie with mash potatoes and an incredible thick rich beef gravy. We very much enjoyed the butter beer and Rhubarb Prim. We did run into several things being out but will look forward to next time. And we definitely have to visit the bakery! Private dining room in back that looked like it could hold 20. Kid friendly, wheel chair accessible and plenty of parking.

It took a veerrrrry long time to be seated . Once seated our waitress was very friendly. Seemed to only be 2 waitresses working on a Saturday night. A lot of the tables took a long time to be cleaned. Luckily we weren’t in a rush to be anywhere so the wait wasnt terrible. I got the spicy fish and chips with mushy peas. The fish and chips were great. Fried to perfection. I also got the Thai wings and they were good as well, not spicy at all. The mushy peas are an acquired taste, try at your own risk lol

I recently ordered the Avocado Toast, and added the poached eggs, and it was an absolute winner. The foundation was solid—thick-cut toast that was toasted to a perfect crisp, holding up beautifully under the toppings. The avocado smash itself was incredibly creamy and fresh; while I thought it could have used just a pinch more salt, it was still delicious.
The real highlight was the execution of the poached egg. It was cooked perfectly, delivering that satisfying runny yolk that ties the whole dish together. The cucumber slices added a refreshing crunch, while the sharp feta provided a nice tangy contrast to the rich egg and avocado. Even the side salad didn’t feel like an afterthought, dressed in a strong, punchy balsamic that worked as a great palate cleanser.
Combined with excellent service, this was an easy 5 out of 5 stars for me. I will definitely be coming back for this one!

Great pub! Used to live in the area and came back down looking for some good food. I friend recommended this place so we gave it a shot. I ordered the Ark burger and it was good. The fries are also very good here. My wife ordered the spicy fish and chips which we both really liked. Our appetizers were the duck fries and the pretzel. Both were good and I especially like the beer cheese that came with the pretzel.

We’ve been here and the little shop downtown a few times and really enjoy the food, service, and atmosphere.
I’ve had the pies that are delicious, but this time I had fish and chips. Now I’m a Brit, and had fish and chips a lot growing up, and still grab it when in the UK; so I know a bit of how they should taste. This was really good, the chips were definitely chippy style. The batter was slightly different, but very good, crispy with a softer inside, with lovely flaky cod, well done!
The beer selection is good, but I love that they have Speckled Hen; it’s from a Suffolk brewery just a few miles from my Dad’s home.
We went on valentines day, for the special, around noon; however, we were told it didn’t start until 1. We were 30 minutes from home so decided to stay anyway, and we’re glad we did. They took care of us too.
We’ll definitely be back, so many good things to try on the menu!

I love this place! I’ve been looking for a good place to have fish and chips in Savannah, Georgia and this is it!! The servers and bartenders are sweet. The portions are huge. And the prices are reasonable. They also have a wonderful original cocktail menu. Lots of fun drinks! But I didn’t partake. I’ll save it for when I go back. The only thing I didn’t like was they don’t serve coleslaw there with fish and chips. I know that’s not English, but it would be nice instead of the peas to have coleslaw. I think they do offer a side salad for an up charge. But all in all, I really love the place and can’t wait to go back with my girlfriends. It also is a sweet date night place as well. I loved it!

My wife and I were travelling back to Coffee County Georgia from visiting friends in South Carolina when we discovered this restaurant just off the freeway in Pooler. My wife enjoyed a chicken pot pie with mashed potatoes and excellent brown gravy. There were no vegetables in the pie, but it was full of chicken and spices. I loved the classic British fish and chips that were served with green peas and home-cut fries. I have traveled to England and this American version would make the Brits proud. Our server was very sweet and made us feel welcome.

We’ve been many times and it’s great every time. I don’t leave many reviews, but it’s becoming rare to find good spots these days where people seem to care about the work they’re doing. Customer service is a special industry that touches lives when you’re good at it. Especially these days when we lack personal interaction. The main bartender that’s always there is quick, attentive and funny. The food is what you’d expect from a pub, simple and delicious. Nothing fancy or fusion and weird. Just good hearty food in good company. We love it.
