We saw a cork & fork in the ten top places to eat in the area..
The food was really good.
The waitress made me a special non alcoholic drink with ginger beer & hibiscus it was so good.
We had a variety of things.
Fried artichokes..good
Vegetarian dumplings ☆
I had a shrimp taco, ask them to put the bacon on the thig. That was one of the best tacos i’ve ever had. I will go back for that.
For $112 dollars we had the tiniest amount of food ever and were extremely so bummed. The cauliflower was the most favorite item and honestly the most generous portion of all of the very petite portions
Was there to play a round of golf with friends and started looking in earnest as most good ppaces were booked early evening.
Came upon this small place in a mall ttpe locatiin and was able to get a table.
What a pleasant surprise, Food is family sharing style and everything from Salads to tge Shrimp balls ? To the steak tacos was delicious.
The service was very attentive and the entire evening was reslly reasonable !Which was an additional surprise, try it the next time you are in Indio.
The problem was the food. I ordered the filet mignon tacos. The last couple of bites tasted off — almost “fishy” — so I stopped eating them. A few hours later, I was sick. That shouldn’t happen with filet mignon, and it tells me the meat wasn’t fresh.
I’d go back for the ambience and service, but I won’t be ordering beef here again. For now, I’ll stick to the vegan options.
Word is getting out on the new, improved Cork & Fork. I’d keep it a secret, but I want this place to be around for awhile.
