My wife and I are both from San Diego and my wife is half Mexican, so I safely say that we know the real deal. So we found a real deal here in the middle of farm fields.
Service is very good and friendly.
Ambiance is a bit on the hole in the wall side, but clean.
I’m not too excited about the country music, but I guess the local community does.
There are two Hispanic chefs that really know what they’re doing.
My Taco Al Pastor was treated with pieces of pineapple on top, which is the real traditional way to make it.

Oh, if you like hot and tasty hot sauce, you got to try the one made with roasted peppers. ️

I love la Hacienda My favorite is the fajita burrito or monster burrito, steak or chicken is always good, I only wish the rice was more consistent. Some days are different than others. But Good atmosphere good service good people!

The service was outstanding! Our waitress Becky was exceptional! She brought the food out altogether and was great about getting anything we needed. The food was good but not hot. The quantities were amazing. Rice and beans were OK, but lukewarm at best. Taco salads were great! Very few vegetarian options. A little pricey!
The place has great decor and bright and cheery inside but could use a good cleaning.

I had a good time here! Great food! A little village with a big heart! They start you with chips and salsa, which the salsa was really good! I had the carnita tacos, they were really good! The pork was moist but also crisp on the edges! The tamales were real good as well. The only thing was the wait time for the food, they seemed real busy so I’m not mad or annoyed by that. But was also told that waitress lost her ticket book so that may have something to do with the wait time but again not terribly long either. We ordered a side of queso dip with our chips and the queso wasn’t great. It tasted kind of bland. The dish came with rice and refried beans, the beans had nice flavor and so did the rice but I wish the rice a little more warmer than they were. The rice seemed to be room temp, I’m not annoyed with that either just a personal preference. Overall I really enjoyed the experience of food and people! I recommend this place for sure!

For a rist time visit, I would say it was a decent experience!
I had the shrimp bowl (added the black beans) and a carnita taco. The taco was so tasty! The meat was tender, and full of flavor. I enjoyed the shrimp bowl. The shrimp had a delicious flavor with a hint of spice, however, I did notice a fair amount of the rice was a little.. hard. I did feel like the shrimp bowl was a little in the salty side, as well. It wasn’t intolerable, but noticeable.
The restaurant itself was nice and cozy. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the waitress who assisted us helped in deciding what I should order as a first time customer!

The hot rock wasn’t a hit for me but, everyone loves it. I will return to try other dishes. Live music was a treat.
Return visit… wet burrito was great. Others enjoyed the shredded beef and the chicken Flautas and shredded beef Chimi.
