Got brunch here. Food and coffee were great. Had Nashville Hot Benny and a cinnamon roll. I sat at the bar and Katie served me, and she is AWESOME!! Made my morning all the nicer. Cheers.

** (5 eggs out of 5)**

We rolled up hungry on a Friday morning and left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. This spot nails that perfect combo of Southern comfort food done right—fresh, hearty, and full of flavor—without any pretension. The vibe is welcoming and cozy, with friendly staff who make you feel like a regular even on your first time.

I went for the **Truck Stop Breakfast**, and it was everything I hoped for. Thick-cut, pecanwood-smoked bacon crisper to perfection, tasty eggs (I got mine over easy), and a large homemade buttermilk biscuits that was tall, buttery, and practically melted in mymouth, plus hearty breakfast potatoes on the side. A classic, no-frills plate that executed at a high level—generous portions, hot off the grill, and seriously satisfying. No weak links here; every bite hit the spot.

My wife opted for the **fried chicken sandwich**, and she couldn’t stop raving. The chicken was juicy and tender inside with a crispy, well-seasoned breading—not too greasy, just right. It came on a soft bun with the fixings, and she said it was one of the best she’s had in the area (and she loves a good chicken sandwich). The side of fries was fresh and crispy too.

Everything felt made-from-scratch, the coffee was solid, and service was quick and attentive even when though it was busy. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why local spots beat chains every time—great food, warm hospitality, and that small-town charm.

If you’re in the Southern Pines/Aberdeen area craving a killer breakfast or brunch, Mason’s is a must-try. We’re giving it a full **5 eggs**—top-tier, no hesitation. We’ll be back for sure, maybe to try the Nashville hot chicken or that famous Train Wreck next time!

Highly recommend. Go hungry!

We got both of the weekly specials – the biscuit French toast and the hot chicken Benny – and both were amazing! The potatoes are super crispy with some type of delicious batter. The hot chicken was really flavorful but not too spicy and the berry compote with lemon on the biscuit French toast was
The staff is always so friendly and service is great. Definitely recommend this place for a weekday breakfast or weekend brunch and I am super excited that they are going to be open for dinner too.

This quaint little spot has good service, with quick times. Restaurant was full when we got there and we still did not have to wait. Not too loud even when full.

Wow, what great biscuits and gravy. Had mine topped with two perfectly scrambled eggs and was stuffed. Even skipped lunch. There were why to many great dishes coming to tables around us and I wish we were in town longer. I bet you can go through the entire menu and not be disappointed. We plan to make this an annual visit with longer stays in the area. Will definitely eat here again.

The food was delicious and the servings are huge! The club sandwich was so thick that I had to nibble around it before I could really bite into it. And my wife enjoyed an equally large chicken salad sandwich with a yummy side salad. It was a Saturday and we had a 15 min wait, but it was worth it.

I eat at Masons a couple of times every month, and it never disappoints! Everything I’ve tried from breakfast to lunch to dinner has been absolutely delicious. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The burger is my absolute favorite easily one of the best around! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great meal any time of day!

My family and friends were in the area visiting and stopped by to get some good breakfast before starting our day.

The food was amazing!
The toast was fluffy-airy- and just melted in my mouth. This was the best toast that we had ever ate.
Potatoes were crispy- not oily- and tasted super freshly cooked.
Pancakes are amazingly delicious and huge!
The blueberries & strawberries were big, juicy sweet, and delicious.

Ms. Joy (I believe was her name- elder lady helping us) – she was extremely sweet, attentive & friendly.

Didn’t see if there was a kids menu available.

We loved the atmosphere, modern look and super nice staff.
The bathrooms are located in the back of building- which you cross the kitchen- the kitchen was super clean, organized and staff was working together.
Bathrooms were super clean.

Mason’s is a local spot, known for breakfast, though features plenty of other options for any kind of guests passing by-

Team extended warm + inviting hospitality, always checked in on food, and ensured refilling of beverages.

Would stop by again, though after eating + dining there, the restaurant stands more of a usual spot to grab your classic breakfast list- Good spot + appreciate the chalk board specials, adds more of their touch of creation.

We enjoyed the many options of both brunch and lunch today. My husband had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which he said was delicious. My parents had the French toast and Belgium waffle, and I had the huevos rancheros.
All of it was really good.
We also shared the seasonal fruit plate with granola and yogurt as an appetizer which was delicious as well!
