I’ve been a customer since forever (40 years?) and followed them from location to location. Food is always tops while service has varied and currently the reduction in table service (order up front, food delivered) is a little awkward IMO, I”m a loyal fan and keep coming back. I think they’ve eliminated their (very small number of) counter service which used to be a high point for me when eating alone.

Very glad to have Viola’s still serving in this small town with limited options.

I could not eat this meal – had the Navajo taco special – no spice, bland ground beef, beans had no flavor. If you have any standards you won’t be happy eating here. Staff was friendly and I enjoyed my doctor pepper. On my way to someplace else for my lunch. 🙁

Stopped by with my wife for breakfast this morning (10 June 2022). I got the burrito ranchero With green and my better half got the 2 egg breakfast. Mine was phenomenal, good flavor and the green chili sauce was very flavorful with enough spice to make it very good. The 2 egg breakfast came with the eggs cooked perfectly and the pancakes were nice and fluffy. Everyone on the staff was welcoming and the atmosphere inside was very pleasing to us. History on display throughout and you can tell they care about their customers. I highly recommend and we’ll be stopping by anytime we’re in town.

Food was great! Nice little hole in the wall! We were in town for a tour and walked right across the street and enjoy a quick and good lunch!

Decent but underwhelming. Not sure why it’s so popular. This was our first time and probably our last. Chile was decent and the coffee was palatable but the rest was under seasoned and the children’s plates rather bleak.

Great place for affordable breakfast. About $6 a plate for smothered burritos. They have pancakes, French toast and staples like eggs, bacon and sausage. Fast service and no waiting for the check, just go and pay at the counter whenever you’re ready to go

We visited this restaurant several years back and it was amazing with lines out the door. This time around we found the food lacking although service was good. Won’t be back.
