Had too much fries & burger, and seafood platters this week in SFO, therefore, we eager to find something different. Since, we feel not quite safe in the downtown area, so we were only searched for some places near the hotel.

Le Parc is right on an intersection, so it is convenient and easy to find. A classic french decor with about 10 tables. Variety of alcohol options and not overpriced, however, the menu is relatively simple and short, offering very limited choices. Overall is good

I came to this restaurant because of the good reviews. I started with the duck liver appetizer, which looked nice but was far too rich and heavy to be enjoyable as a starter. For mains, we had the roast salmon and spinach ravioli. While the dishes were beautifully presented, the flavors told a different story—uninspired, and completely forgettable. The portions were small, the taste underwhelming, and overall, not worth the high price tag. To make matters worse, the host was overly attentive in a pretentious way, which made the experience feel uncomfortable rather than welcoming, in my opinion.

Braised Oxtail:
The oxtail is beautifully cooked – tender and falling off the bone. The red wine sauce adds a classic touch while delivering a rich, complex depth of flavor.

Onion Soup Tart:
An interesting and creative take on a traditional dish. I love the intense onion flavor, though the goat cheese slightly overpowers for my preference. Still, it’s a well-balanced and enjoyable bite overall.

Lovely small French restaurant. Love the small menu done incredibly well. Onion tart, steak frites, NA cucumber/lychee spritz were all great.

We stayed in hotel above, joined the wait list, but was seated right away. Service was good. Food was delicious & drinks were as well. In town for the weekend and was a great night’s dinner.

Le Parc Bistrobar is a hidden gem with the perfect balance of elegance and comfort. The ambiance is upscale yet inviting, making it ideal for date night or a relaxed evening with friends. The food was beautifully presented and packed with flavor…every bite felt intentional. The cocktails were crafted to perfection, and the service truly elevated the entire experience. The staff was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overwhelming, checking in at just the right moments and making us feel genuinely welcomed. Definitely a spot I’d return to.

A pleasant surprise. Great cocktail list, classics plus sections of Lillet and Chartreuse cocktails.

The escargot was great, with sauteed fennel and no fiddly shells. Chicken roulade was moist and flavorful. (Surely this is an OK place to use “moist?”) My steak was perfectly crusty on the outside and tender and pink on the inside, and the fries were my favorite.

Oh, plus molten goat cheese in honey on crostini for dessert.

Outstanding bistro cuisine: escargot, cheese plate, onion tart were excellent starters. Only to be amazed by the moules et frites, salmon, croque Monsieur. Topped off by the best chocolate mousse, meringue, coffee + ice cream. Impeccable service, welcoming & professional.

On the second visit we had chicken mousse, gem salad, onion tart (again), steak frites, chicken entree, ravioli, trio of desserts & chocolate lava cake – all exceptionally delicious & well prepared. Will return .

I finally found a worthy French restaurant in my neighborhood. Having lived in Paris, I’ve been spoiled by the high standards of French cuisine. So when I came back to the states, I was let down by many so-called French food establishments. What many consider good are just average. But Le Parc is a step above and made me reminisce my time in France. The little gems salad, oxtail, fries and mousse were all delicious. They also offer Saint-Géron for sparkling, which is nicer than other restaurants. Can’t wait to come back for the escargot, onion soup tart, poulet and everything else on the menu. Merci beaucoup, Le Parc!

Genuine French food, french speaking staff and guests.

On a Friday at 1pm, 4 of 9 tables were occupied, bar area had no one seated.

Mussels had quite a strong seafood taste, might be a difference from Australia where the seafood tastes more mild, one mussel had tiny bits of sand.

Salmon tartare was excellent and a small entree serving.

Frites was overly generous in size, I’d prefer vegetables but menu says no changes allowed.

French martini was too sweet for my liking.

Nice service, decor and vibe. Good service that left you alone but checked if you were ok.

The food issues were due to what I ordered, not the restaurant, so still 5 stars. Or 4.8 if Google allowed more detail.
