I originally went here to try ice cream ramen, I’m not 100% sure of the name but it does have ice cream in it. I did not end up getting it because we were very scared to try. I went here with my boyfriend and friend. When we first walked in, it seemed busy so we thought it must be good. We had to seat ourselves which was okay, I guess. The decor had some Japanese wordings along the words and some quotes. I like that we can view the people making our ramen which was good. The bathroom was very, very clean and smelled really good. Now, with the food. We all ordered different ramen. Mine was the tonkatsu miso and it was okay. I prefer a very deep flavor ramen and the color was there but it was lacking so much flavor. Also, I ate my pork belly chashu and why was it so cold?! It’s like the meat was just sitting in the fridge and they threw it right on top of the broth. On top of that, the broth wasn’t even piping hot. I was able to just eat it right away which tells me that this place doesn’t feel fresh. I went on to try my boyfriend’s soup which is the Tantan ramen and it was soooo salty. When they say salt based sauce, believe it. It was soo salty. I needed chili to help cut through the salt. I don’t mind salt but the salt was too overpowering in the broth. My friend has the Kara-miso ramen(spicy), she said it was not spicy at all and it was super salty. We also got the sausage to try since it sounded interesting but we were very disappointed in that too. It tastes like a smaller polish sausage just with less salt. If you dip it in the ketchup that they provide, it tastes like a hot dog in a bun. My boyfriend even got extra noodles in his bowls that were free, but his bowl came out smaller than the rest of the table which was weird because he was suppose to have extra noodles. They also offer passports where you can get stamps from all their locations. I’d do it if I liked the places but I do not. Overall, this was not worth $80 at all. I’ve had better ramen from a lot of different places.
(Same review by me on Yelp)

It was almost empty at 1pm on a Saturday so the service was really fast. We got the fukumi ramen and the ice cream ramen. The eggs could have been cooled a little less but the ice cream killed the heat nicely in the ice cream ramen. The fukumi ramen comes with an extra free side of rice or noodles and you can choose between thin or thick

The atmosphere was amazing with very friendly service. As someone who previously never cared for ramen, I can say that this restaurant was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious, I look forward to my next visit.

Nice place for a bowl of ramen noodles. Several variety to choose from and add an appetizer too if desired.
The tastes is stronger than the usual ramen so it may take a few bites to get used to. They provide extra ramen noodles or rice at no charge.
Lots of decorations from the lobby to the restrooms.

We visited this restaurant and spent about $60 for two noodle dishes and one rice dish. The rice dish came with just a small amount of fried pork in sauce on top. The portion of soup noodles was really large. The pork in sauce was pretty standard, and the plain boiled rice had no salt or seasoning — just regular white rice.

My family went here after attending an event for my daughter. We were excited to see a highly recommended Ramen place after 5 hours of being locked in at the event. As soon as we sat down we noticed that there were no GF options and no substitutions. That’s a bummer, we wee tired and hungry and already there after a long day. The worst part is that there were unwilling to even put veggies on rice for my wife. And worst yet they completely forgot the side of rice until we asked for it after all the food had been delivered.
We eat a lot of Ramen and while options are not up we plentiful there are options that noodle houses can carry. And if they don’t want to, it’s just as easy to at least have one option for people on the menu.

Best ramen I’ve tried in rocklin. They had my food out under 5 minutes. I ordered the tantan ramen. Huge portions on ramen and so delicious. Most flavorful pork belly i’ve had. Kimchi was crunchy flavorful and spicy. Atmosphere is super cool and it’s fun to eat in here alone. Highly recommend and super friendly staff.
