Nice dive! Brisket quesadilla was great! House chips were crispy and smoky. The spicy BBQ sauce has just the right amount of heat. The sweet BBQ sauce was a little too sweet for me. The chipotle sauce that came with the quesadilla was amazing. My wife ordered a spud with brisket. She would have preferred real butter and real cheese instead of what she was given.
Great atmosphere. Great service.
The outside patio was perfect for dining this time of year. Parking is limited but there is public parking across the street. They take precautions for those who have Celiac or are sensitive to Gluten.

We are here to work with Samaritans Purse- all the way from Chattanooga TN. The owner met us at the door and went out of his way to be friendly and welcome us. The food was delicious- totally recommend this to anyone! God bless your business!

Cool place with nice outside seating. The ribs were small not much meat on them but they were cooked well. They only have sweet or spicy bbq sauce I was told they didn’t have plain original. The brisket was good as well as was the sausage. Nice place good atmosphere but in my opinion the bbq was nothing exquisite.

Amazing food!! Every single plate we had was outstanding (party of nine). Friendly atmosphere, with great customer service. The brussel sprouts are ridiculously delicious. The owner graciously gifted us banana pudding that was out of this world. You must eat here!!

We got there too late to get the smoked meats, but had the best burger of my life. Owner was walking around talking the whole time, 10/10 in EVERY SINGLE category. My daughter got the street corn and was the best we’ve ever had, same for me with the Brussels sprouts. I would highly highly recommend for anyone in the Monroe area. SO worth it.

The staff were very friendly and my food came out fast. Appetizer with an entree was just under $30 before a tip, but every single bite was delicious. Definitely quality over quantity, which is perfectly fine. Overall a great place to eat.

We were in town for a few days with our daughter, who’s starting a new job with US Fish and Wildlife. Drove past JAC’s the night before and notice how packed it was, I said we need to try that tomorrow night before we head back to Tampa. We went last night and the food was amazing! Wanted to try a little bit of everything so we ordered and split the Cuban, 2 different quesadilla’s (brisket and pulled pork) and a traditional pulled pork sandwich. Food was amazing, and so was the homemade banana pudding for dessert! Even more amazing were the owners, Tracy and Kristi…who came over and asked our daughter and her new roommate what research they will be doing for the next year. As we were finishing up our dinner, Tracy came back over and handed the girls both his and his wife’s business cards along with their phone numbers. He said if the girls ever needed anything at all while in Monroe for the next year to please give either of them a call! Obviously an amazing family, in addition to the amazing food and restaurant they run! Thanks for everything!

It was my husband and I first time in a few nights ago we came in excited to try some good bbq as we have heard nothing but good things. We ordered Togo but went inside to check it out and pick up. The first thing we noticed was the lack of customer service the girl at the first desk seemed to hate being there and she didn’t once speak or smile at us and when we did ask or talk to her she pointed to a different counter saying we pick up there like we were bothering her. We get to the next counter to be told they don’t have what we ordered for the Cuban which was the only reason we even came it’s hard to find a good Cuban around! We adjusted our order and went on about our business waiting. Finally we were called to get our food handed our food as she was talking to another employee and that was that. No have a great night or anything. The brisket was really good so it did make up for the lack of customer service and we are hoping it was just a bad day/night and they were off. We will try again because the food was good. The portions are a little small to be a bbq place and ordering on Texas toast you expect a big sandwhich but again it was good so it made up for it. When you go in somewhere you want to feel welcomed! Customer service is what drives your people back not just the good food!

My first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was friendly, the service was great. Very clean and busy when we stopped for lunch, 2 minute wait and found the last table inside. The special today was pork belly, so I had to try it and it was definitely ☆☆☆☆☆

The building is right on the corner. The owner is a really nice guy. He has a page on FB that can tell you more. The meat is good, tender and moist. The beans were good and so was the Mac n cheese. The prices are reasonable for good bbq.
