Nice spot to stop in for oysters while strolling through Pike Place. It has a very cute vibe, tucked away inside the building with a small patio. They offer other fish dishes as well, though those looked just okay. Service was a bit slow, especially considering it wasn’t very busy.

Tucked into the north end of Pike Place Market, a gem in the crown of the Pacific Northwest food scene. This oyster bar is worth going into the thick of the most crowded block of tourists you’ll encounter in downtown Seattle (a plus for people-watchers like me).
Moving to Seattle 16 years ago from New Orleans, another city with a top food scene, I wondered why it took me so long to find this terrific oyster bar.
Greeted warmly by Hannah, my waitress, she placed a liter of water and glass on the table, as well as the menu. Spotting half a dozen broiled oysters I asked her if I could start with three. She kindly checked with the kitchen informing me it’s a no, the dish would contain six in accordance to the menu. I also ordered the Oyster Roll which I intended for takeout. Hannah was great, she said she’ll have that ready to go when I’d be finished with my broiled oysters.
Full disclosure: the broiled oysters were so delicious, I would have fully regretted being served only three. Topped lightly with butter, Parmesan cheese and bacon, in truth, these oysters were so good, I could have eaten a dozen.
As I finished, with perfect timing, Hannah delivered my Oyster Roll boxed and bagged for me to take home. Of course I had to take a peak. The smell of the freshly fried hand-cut French fries underneath the Oyster Roll wafted out, tempting me to have a taste. Trying one, I had another, then another, and another….Hannah, attentive and prompt, placed a dish for me to spill out more fries, allowing me space for ketchup. She smiled knowingly when I said freshly made fries must be eaten immediately when at their best. Of course, she agreed.
The Oyster Roll: In all honesty, this sandwich truly impressed me when I pulled it out of the box. If I had ordered this from any of the many fantastic Oyster Poor Boy (aka Po’Boy) shops in my hometown of New Orleans, I would still have rated it five stars. This was authentic! This was a half dozen, perfectly fried oysters in a French bread loaf dressed with a blended mayo-based mixed coleslaw. It warmed up nicely in three minutes in the air fryer setting of my induction oven, bringing back just enough crunch to make it taste perfect; like it was just prepared in a restaurant. After eating the first half, on the other half I kicked it up a notch by adding a few shakes of Crystal hot sauce and a few thin slices of dill pickles. Crazy how a sandwich can bring back memories of home.
If anyone reading this is living in Seattle, but also from Louisiana, or anywhere in the gulf coast states, I definitely recommend you check out Emmett Watson’s Oyster Bar.
Oh, they have gumbo, too, I’ll definitely try it when I go back. Expect another review soon!

This was probably a bad day for the restaurant but the service was incredibly slow. Confused our drink orders or forgot. The food was decent, the fried oysters had way too much breading. Best thing was the fries and the fresh oysters were good.

Great, fresh oysters at a great price! Service is quick and friendly and they have a lovely little patio. Will be back to reward myself after a long week of work again!

A local recommended this place even though it’s at touristy pike place. The oyster on the half shell were fresh and delicious. Homemade clam chowder was flavorful but not salty or too potatoey. The fried oyster po boy plate was perfection — fried panko crusted oysters with vinegary slaw served with house made french fries. It’s a solid taste of the northwest.

An absolute gem of a place! While the market was crawling with people on a Monday afternoon, this spot is nicely tucked away downstairs.

Prices are extremely reasonable and I was able to fill myself up on a dozen oysters, some bread, and a cup of the chowder for less than $50! The chowder was a bit grainy (probably not the most freshest batch) but it was delicious and hearty nonetheless. I will definitely be coming back over and over and over again! I describe this place to my friends as the dive bar of oyster houses – good prices, non-pretentious atmosphere, fun memorabilia, and great staff.

Ordered a half dozen of the raw oysters, very reasonably priced and very fresh and delicious! Service was great, my waitress was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed as an out of towner. I enjoyed the vibe of this place, had a sense of nostalgia to it. First time I had oysters in a while, and these did not disappoint! Highly recommend this place!

Great service , decent oysters – very affordable , we had the magarita and it was delicious. We tried a couple other cocktails that weren’t as good but no big deal cause we were able to send them back.
