We had a great experience at this DQ on a Sunday midday. We stopped in around lunch to kill an hour by grabbing a couple drinks and a snack. We walked in to find no line. We ordered and took a seat. Our order was delivered within 5 min. The drinks were cold and the chicken tender meal piping hot. The fries were excellent. The chicken a bit dry but they got my special dipping sauce order right. So this wasn’t high cuisine but the service was friendly, the place was clean ( including restrooms) and the food fresh and hot. What more can you want from a DQ?

Extremely disappointed with the cake I bought for my son’s birthday . I called Monday and placed a cake order for pick up Wednesday. Wednesday rolls around and they did not have my son’s cake ready. So doing what I could I got a premade one from their freezer and they decorated it for me . Which I do think was nice of them to do. HOWEVER, the cake I got was terribly made. 90% vanilla no cookie crumble middle and 10% chocolate. For a $30+ dollar cake you would expect a better quality. Extremely dissatisfied and disappointed

Every time my friends and my self go through the drive-thru, we always ask for light ketchup, mustard, fresh and hot burgers and one with extra pickles. They never make our order correct. The sandwiches are lukewarm, and very messy and sloppy. And then they never give enough napkins even if you ask for extra.

I’m so annoyed to even have to leave a review but I was told for over a month that I would receive a refund and every time I called to inquire I was told something different and was also told that the district manager would call me and never did. All of this because one item was out of stock on a mobile order and instead of just giving cash back or a gift card for the one blizzard they didn’t have anymore, they “voided” the entire $17.73 transaction and then charged my husband for the remaining items so we were double charged basically and never had our original payment of $17.73 returned. I would avoid this location as they have not been helpful in anyways while I have reached out and finally after 5 weeks and calling 4 different times, I was finally told I could come in and just get a gift card in the original total of $17.73. Just seems very sketchy and they seriously lack customer service skills.

Their Blizzards are by far the worst! Every other Dairy Queen we go to their blizzards actually have flavor. Salem is very lacking in their flavor its like they purposely try and be cheap skates and put very little to no flavor in them. Such a waste and shame to pay that much for so minimum. We will drive to columbiana from now on. This has been multiple occasions now not just once.

I’m gonna start this by saying that I almost never have a problem at this Dairy Queen. My food is almost always ready to go and hot. I placed an online order around 10:53am this morning. It was to be done by 11:05am. I arrived at the establishment about 5 minutes after the order was supposed to be done and found out that my order was still being made. They said the tenders still needed to be made. No big deal. They weren’t really all that busy at all but things happen. 15-20 minutes later, multiple drive thru orders later, which included tenders, I finally get my order. The time I have for my lunch is practically over at this point. I arrived back at my job only to then find out that my order was wrong. The tenders basket was fine. My triple flamethrower burger was a double, and instead of cheese curds, I have fries and a random tartar sauce? Not to mention that the burger and fries were cold from them sitting so long. So I paid extra for food I didn’t receive. Can’t really say I’m too happy with this experience.

Normally not one to complain, but they need to learn better customer service skills, dude in the drive thru didn’t even let us finish talking and the girl at the second window jus was not giving a happy interaction. was not very welcoming.

This is by far the worst dairy queen operational wise I stood in line for 5-10 min with no one taking my order and when I got fuming mad and walked away they finally took my wife’s order and claimed they thought we had been helped already, then it took my wife going back to the counter 10 min later getting g her order and my brother’s order, plus my wife went to wash her hands and use the rest room and she described something looking like blood on the toilet paper roll.

This is the absolute worst DQ in history. They screw up EVERY SINGLE ORDER. I went when it opened and it was a disaster and I went a few times since and it is ALWAYS a disaster. I fault only one person the owner for hiring that evil woman that yells at the employees ALL DAY LONG. She yelled at this high school aged employee for making his hot fudge Sunday before he clocked out then he had to pay full price for his Sunday. I told the kid he should quit. She yelled at all the other employees for not being at there station. I ordered chicken strip basket and nobody was at the chicken station. After 10 minutes the evil manager asked me why I was there. I said I ordered the chicken strip basket that you took my order. She promptly turned around and started screaming at them for not making chicken when they were just instructed to make burgers and fries. She needs fired. The ice cream area is an absolute mess! Toppings everywhere, the floor, counters, tops of the machines? Ice cream spilled everywhere. I was there when someone ordered a snickers blizzard and he was handed a vanilla ice cream cone. He said I paid for a blizzard. They took the ice cream out of the cone scrapped into a cup added more ice cream and added oreos crumbs. Go to columbiana and save the headache this place will give you

We specifically asked for a milkshake to be made without syrup and it was made with syrup. I repeated my order. I also asked if they were able to make a certain flavor blizzard and they said yes. I get to the window and they said they cannot make it. Young people working without adult supervision and they don’t pay attention. Happens every time we go there, which isn’t very often and won’t happen again.
