Romantic and delicious place to go for a date night!! My husband and I ended up here for magical dining month and it was spectacular. The ambience is lovely and the entire staff was very attentive. The food was AMAZING. The flavors blew me away and I could not stop eatting! One of the best dinners I have had. I highly, highly recommend trying them at least once!! My mouth waters when I think about how delicious thier dishes (mainly the sauces) were. You can tell a lot of love went into each dish. My favorites were the Alsatian Style Seafood Crepes, Mustard Crusted Fish and YOU HAVE to get the Crème Brulée!!!

Delightful authentic French cuisine with staff that is French! Escargot was buttery and melts in your mouth. The French onion soup is unique and has multiple levels of flavor. In my entire life, I have never had a soufflé before… the raspberry soufflé was decadent. The hostess is attentive and welcoming. From the bottom of my heart, I enjoyed speaking French with my waiter. Thank you for a truly exquisite evening.

This traditional French restaurant has been part of the culinary scene in Orlando since 1976. As my wife and I had a few milestones to celebrate our daughter placed a reservation for us. Even though the establishment is not located in the most “charming” part of the city it’s ambiance is inviting.
We’ve ordered Tuna Poke foi Hour D’Oeuvres (not pictured) which is Ahi Tuna and macerated avocado with a sesame spiced marinate and it was the perfect appetizer, really tasty!
My wife was eager to try the Poulet “Coq au Vin” and we ordered it and also the Pork Schnitzel for me.
The highlight of both dishes was the excellent sauces in which they were cooked, simply delicious. My wife commented how well balanced her poulet dish was. She normally always share portions of her dishes with me but not this one! She had it all for herself!
The Schnitzel is a large portion of trimmed breaded pork chop enough to feed two hungry people.
We capped our delicious meal with a crème brûlée that was also very tasty and light on sugar (kudos!!!).
The server who waited on us was very courteous and the service was very fast with very minimal time to receive our orders.
Some items of the menu were not available but that didn’t spoil our experience.
Le Coq au Vin is highly recommended for its excellent cuisine and we hope to return in brief!

Went to Le Coq Au Vin restaurant the Magical Dining Event for the $40 3 course meal. I had the seafood crepe as a appetizer and it had delicious seafood in the crepe. I had the golden tile fish for the entrée. It was very tender, moist and had a good lemon flavor sauce in the plate served with carrots and mashed potatoes. A very good fish meal.
For desert I added the extra $10 for the grand marnier soufflé. It was well worth it. Iwas so good! Light , airy, smooth texture with a great taste.
Le Coq Au Vin is a well known, prize winning fine dining French restaurant in a simple unassuming building on Orange Ave. Check it out.
By the way Le Coq Au Vin roughly means a chicken stew in wine sauce in English.

An amazing experience! The wait staff was highly educated in their foods as well as their wines. When special requests were made throughout the dining experience, each were granted with a desire to please. I took a moment to talk to the other guests before leaving and all agreed that this is the nicest restaurant in the Orlando area.

Wonderful French restaurant located in Orlando serving great food and wine. I had herb crusted salmon, which was perfect. Another person had the stake frites, again perfectly cooked (the fries are addictive).
The place is small and cosey, perfect for a nice night out. They can get busy so call ahead. And yes, they do serve Coq au vin, which is very good.
