I’ve driven by this place for years but my husband and I decided to try it out for lunch today.
I should have known it wasn’t going to be good as soon as we walked in. It smells like… maybe mothballs and something else. It didn’t smell like food at all. Should have turned around right then but, instead, we went further into the dingy, dated room and grabbed a booth.
No one else was in the restaurant portion but a good handful of folks were playing what I would assume are Keno or poker machines in the bar area. They all seemed to know each other.
Our waitress was nice and cheerful. We ordered- a burger and fries for me and a roast beef dip and fries for my husband.
When they came, I thought my bun seemed hard but it had been toasted so I attributed it to that. The burger was good. Right up until I found mold in the bun. It looked dark ish in one area and when I pulled it apart, it was clearly green inside. By then I had had about all I wanted… and more than I wish I had. My husband said his was OK and he finished it.
We asked for the check and my husband pointed out the mold. Our waitress seemed surprised and said she would show “him” who I took to be the cook.
We paid and left. She came running behind us into the parking lot and said she wanted my name as they would comp me a burger next time we come. I told her that wasn’t necessary. I know we will never darken their doorway again. I wouldn’t advise anyone to dine here. There wasn’t much good about this place.
**There was no “Parsley sauce” inside the bun. It was mold.

The food was amazing, I have never tasted a burger so good before. I would definitely recommend their Corner Burger, it won an award for a reason. I will definitely be coming back regular since the food has been on my mind since. They have a lot of events like Karoke and bands playing so each time you come to eat, you get a new experience. Further to the appeal.

Honestly not much was great about this place. The live music was fun, but the bar is not huge so it really echos a lot, literally our waitress had to yell to introduce herself. The food was subpar, the chicken quesadilla was meh, the French fries were great, the corner burger did not wow me and the lamb euro was dry, like with my girlfriend’s chicken euro. With the bar being relatively empty, we had to get up to go to the bar to order our food and pay, the service wasn’t great.

Second time here, was introduced by Groupon. Food, service and prices are great. The wings were really good…they are baked and then fried for a nice crispy skin. I had the mild and the buttery garlic. The blue cheese wasn’t too “blue cheesy”.

Molly, the evening server, is awesome. She mostly works by herself and handles everything. She knows what her customers want as they walk in the door. I have been going Sunday for karaoke for about 3 months and I have not had a bad meal yet. The interior could use an upgrade but I guess that will be done in time. I must say that I was there about a year and a half ago and the food was not good. They must have some new chefs or a change in the kitchen. Much improvement.

They said award winning burgers and they were right. The Corner burger was excellent. Thursdays are open mic and the music was great. Excellent service, friendly staff, very diverse and friendly guests. Love the outdoor patio area. I could go on and on. I love this place ❤️ !

Stay as far away from this place as possible. We went a couple of nights ago and ordered two cheeseburgers. They claim they have the best around. They were the worst we ever had. We told the owner manager and she grabbed them off the table very rude. The mixed drinks are terrible . The place is not clean. The bathroom was out of toilet paper. Do NOT eat at this place. It’s a run down building Not a dive bar. Recap, Burgers were undercooked and red, fries were soggy, mixed drinks were the worst we have ever had and owner is the rudest person we have ever dealt with. We won’t be back. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

The karaoke was great! They were out of hummus and no falafel. I’m vegan so I drank water. The waitress was working alone but she handled both sides very efficiently. The singers were really good!!
