One of my coworkers bought a couple of pizzas for us for Valentine’s Day and I really enjoyed the unique flavors. I decided to buy them again today and again, enjoyed it. Fast forward to a few hours later, when I decided to eat a leftover slice of the Indiano pizza and I suddenly feel something sharp in my mouth. I take it out to see that there’s some sort of metal wiring and realize this was actually in the slice that I was then currently eating. I really loved this place up until that. I don’t know if it came off of cleaning equipment or what…but….it just wasn’t something that I could bypass. I have tolerance for a lot of things…but not that. It’s absolutely unacceptable for a dining establishment, actually.

IGNORE THE LOW RATING!
I guess they had a bad startup.

Legit pizza oven, black leopard spots on white crust. Perfect.

Theres over a dozen fusion pizzas, so it could be hit or miss, this is my first time here. The Indiano is awesome. Really tastes like a middle point between a pizza and butter chicken, not just one slapped on the other. The ingredients were all quality and cooked to perfection (thin sliced chicken breast wasn’t dry!!) So I doubt there’s a bad pizza on the menu.

Its very bare-bones, counter service. Community tables outside, but nothing inside. Very clean and presentable.

15 minute minimum wait, as the pizzas are made fresh and its a classic pizza oven, not a huge conveyor oven. Worth the wait if you can!

Similar to others, we were so excited about a pizza place in the neighborhood, but the experience was frustrating. We ordered in person and were told it would be 20 to 25 minutes. We returned to pick our order and ended up waiting 35 minutes more. It is understandable that a new business would draw a lot of orders, but we would have rather been told, “It will be about an hour”. There seemed to be no system to which orders were being worked on first either. Our order was also wrong and the pizza was just ok as one of them was cold. We want to give them another try, but maybe a few weeks from now when the opening kinks are worked out.
UPDATE – Jan 2026:
We ordered pepperoni pizza with very little pepperoni and hardly any cheese. Unfortunately this place continues to be a hit and miss.

AMAZINGGGG 1000/10 I work in the area and I love love looooveee this place!! I’ve become a regular to get lunch here just about every other week their pizzas are delicioussss and their prices are good! (This is coming from someone who’s spent $40 on lunch at another nearby food place this area can get pricey so $15-25 for a whole pizza is a steal to me) You can’t buy individual slices yet but they have small/medium/large pies 🙂 so many options too!!! I prefer that as I can just buy a whole pizza and eat it for lunch multiple days in a row or I can split with my coworkers! I will give a heads up that the wait time can get a bit long but I’ve never waited more than ~30min and it’s because they make the pizzas fresh As someone who’s picky when eating out I adore this place and would absolutely recommend to anyone that walk by! There’s no seating inside and minimal seating outside so this is definitely more of a take and eat place than eat-in ️ the workers are all super nice so please make sure you tip well! Overall I love this place and hope everyone else can love it too!! ❤️

Like most of the other reviews, I was very excited about a new pizza place in the neighborhood. The initial reviews kept me away for the grand opening — sounds like things were a little wild for a minute there.

Happy to report that just a week later it seems like things are running smoothly. Order was ready on time (a little early, actually), and the pizzas were tasty! The dough is a little unique, almost naan like. Employees were attentive and kind.

From what I’ve read this place will be counter serve for a while, but at some point this fall it will open for dine-in.

Does this look like 14″ to you?
Ordered in person and paid for 14″ pie. Even tipped (although I picked up, why should anyone tip for a pickup?).
I did the math, for the prices they charge the 14″ pie is the best value for money. That’s why I ordered it. Except this isn’t 14″. It’s 12″. Measured from a different angle it’s 12.5″ at best.

Why am I paying for a large and getting a medium?

This is not a petty insignificant difference. The area difference between a 12″ and 14″ circle is 40 square inches. That’s the equivalent of an almost 8″ pizza that they’re not giving you by making the dough smaller. Do the math, pi*7^2-pi*6^2=40 (approx). That’s nearly the area of an 8″ personal pizza.

I paid $27 for a 12″ pie. In Philly this would be half the price and double the quality. At least provide what’s ordered.

Why am I paying almost $30 for what would be a medium pie at best in any other state.

I live in the area. I ordered the best value I could get so I could survive another day or so because there’s no food down here in the South waterfront.

Please don’t overcharge for an undersized pizza. That’s just robbery.

Went in later to complain and they spoke a foreign language to each other so I couldn’t understand what they were saying. Look bro I have the measurements. Service quality downgraded.

If you’re overcharging for pizza to begin with at least make it the right size. It’s that simple.

Maybe there’s some shrinkage when it cooks? I don’t know, I’m not a pizza restaurant. You are. If there’s shrinkage you can figure that out. Don’t overcharge and underrepresent.

If I’m paying for a 14″ pie I should get a 14″ pie.

Update 10/18
I went back to try it now that they’ve been up running for about two months. I ordered a half-and-half. One side was supposed to be Alfredo and the other side was supposed to Bambino. They made it half Alfred and half cheese.

Then there comes the quality of the pizza. If anything, the quality of the pizza has gone down since the first time I visited. The dough was not properly cooked and is clearly not fresh. All of the toppings are incredibly bland, including the sauce, cheese, and reheated chicken.

The cheese particularly bad it has no flavor.

On top of that, this pizza is way overpriced. You can get a larger higher quality better tasting pizza from Domino’s than from this place.

I will never go back.

I was very excited for a pizza place to open back up in South Waterfront and when Andiamo opened I was hoping for the best.

I ordered online and was really confused by the menu and concept. Seems like they are trying to be a fusion pizzeria. The fusions is Italian, Indian, Pakistani, and middle eastern. Odd concept, but thought it could work.

IT DOES NOT WORK. I got the Indiano pizza and it left a lot to be desired. 1. The sauce was way too sweet 2. The chicken was dry 3. The pizza dough was not great and under cooked.

I really think you guys should simplify and go with more classic options. You need to get the basics right and improve your crust and sauce. I’d ditch the fusion attempt, it’s too complicated and not great.

Also $18 for a small 10” pizza is pretty high given the quality issues.

The restaurant itself has no ambiance.

I really wanted to like this place, but probably will not go back unless they simplify their menu and get the basics right on making a pizza.

This pizza spot never disappoints! The cheese was perfectly melted, sauce had amazing flavor, and the crust was just the right balance of crispy and soft. The staff was welcoming and the store was clean. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend

Fire baked pizza, took about 15 mins from order to table. Food tasted great, place was clean and staff was friendly. Lots of choices, including fusion, which I did not try yet. Giv’em a try!

Pizza is sub par. Only thing that makes it nice is that it is cooked in the stone oven. The quality is lacking for the price. Service is generic and even though they have seating inside they did not ask if we were eating there or to go so it’s in a take out box regardless. Lighting is dark and less than welcoming. I’ve had two pizzas from them and wings and each of them was lack luster. They are specialty pizzas with average ingredients and have little flavor. Not worth the prices. Only reason for 2 stars is that it cured the desire for pizza and they didn’t take super long to have it ready.
