The worst place to eat. Waited an hour and 25 mins for food. Only saw the waitress once and she had the worst attitude from the start while taking our order. Didn’t get the food until we had to complain about it. And the lady we finally got ahold of actually tried to argue with us because her cook said it had only been 35 mins….. so he already made her look bad to us for lying. A Handful of people that came in 30 mins after us got their food before us and left before us. Our food was almost cold and the owner has no clue what’s going on with their workers that are flirting with each other in the corner of the room instead of taking orders and doing their job. Yes we were watching them. (At this point everything was getting comical) This place is terrible. All the owner did was argue with us about how long we actually waited, until we had proof in our hands and had to show her from life 360 app how long we were actually there and were waiting just to get our food. We had to wait 25 mins to just get the first round of drinks from when we first sat down and give our order. This was the first time I’ve had to experience this kind of service. The waitress who had the real bad attitude needs to be fired. She’s an employee that will bring down that whole restaurant more than it already is. The lady that was bussing the tables was busting her ass cleaning and taking orders while the servers were doing nothing. This place has real potential. But from a customer standpoint. Would not recommend going here until they shape up and hire new staff and a new cook that actually knows how to cook and not burn or over fry the food.

Service was great, food was amazing definitely worth stopping in to try. They do have stairs in front & back so a little challenging on crutches but would go again. My husband had BLT & he ate every bite. He is pretty picky too. My burger had onion rings, cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce. I could hardly get my mouth around it to eat. Stop in New Lisbon

My clan an myself were traveling thru the area the lady at the motel said they were having a birthday party at this business but they had very good pizza and so we ordered a few pizzas. She was right they had a birthday party it was all women around the bar having a blast we waited about 15 minutes got our pizza meanwhile still laughing and having a good time with these people but anyways we got back to motel and started eating the pizza and DAMN let me tell you BEST pizza i ever ate in MY LIFE!! I kid you not it was PERFECT. Don’t believe go try for yourself they are amazing amazing!! I wanna go back!!

Very disappointed. I don’t normally leave a bad review especially on a business in my hometown but tonight it was warranted.
Waited almost an hour and half for our meals. I realize they were very busy so we were being patient but finally had to ask how much longer as we were noticing others who were seated after us done and leaving. We were told our food was being plated and would be right out only to wait more. Then had the owner argue that it hadn’t been that long. In the time we waited for our meals our server never once came back to the table to check on us, clear salad plates or offer refills. Meanwhile we could see her and other servers in the back eating. When our food arrived some was cold, some had clearly been under a heat lamp or reheated in a micro to the point that the wrap was hard and chewy and the lettuce inside was soggy. We had to ask for silverware, and refills. We ate and never saw the server again until we had to ask for the check. When their processing machine would not accept cards we were told with attitude from the server it was our cards not their machines even though the table next to us was having the very same issue.
Bottom line…. service was awful, food mediocre and not one apology from server or owner. Not how you should treat customers, local or not. Sorry but it will be a long time before we go back.

We love their pizza and wing special. Not only is it a great value but it’s absolutely delicious. Their Buffalo sauce is spicy and just the right heat. Elizabeth is great, she always makes us smile. Our favorite place to eat on a Thursday night.

I will never go back again for food, we have tried and tried to give the new owners the benefit of the doubt. But 2 twice now our pizzas weren’t ready and we had to wait another hour, one of our large pizzas was made a small, have had 2 times where our pizza was burnt.
But the icing on the cake was tonight when I ordered dinner there the burger we ordered was fine, but I wired a Chicken bacon ranch wrap: I asked the Elizabeth with was on it she stated: lettuce, cheese, garlic grilled chicken and ranch and I asked to add onions. There was NEVER any mention of tomatoes, I got my wrap it had no onions and had tomatoes on it. I called and said my order was messed up she told me she let me know there were tomatoes on it. She NEVER said there were tomatoes.
Every time we go there it’s something! I’m not impressed!

Group of 12 split up on 2 tables for a Friday fish fry and shrimp dinners. Socializing within our group of family and friends, being sat at 2 different tables, difficulty socializing. Appitizer’s where overcooked and burned. Not a good evening meal at all and expensive. One of the worst meals ever and will Server was aware of the dissatisfied multiple meals , had poor table service for beverages also, persons in our group got their own drinks more than once. Baked Fish, 6 ordered, were small strips, no flavor and overcooked on 5 meals. Shrimp, 3 ordered, were overcooked and Salad Bar was not maintained. The opera house was recommended by a friend for their salad bar, generous portions and a great fish fry, also shrimp dinners. Total disappointment especially with everyone’s food that ordered (the other’s didn’t have fish or shrimp but appetizers burned) I personally will not return due to the multiple bad meals, salad bar and having to self serve on the beverages.

We were passing by New Lisbon in our way to South Dakota. Opera House looked like a good option for lunch and didn’t disappointed: place is very clean and organized , nice people around, good staff and delicious burger and fries! Very well prepared, good quality and fair price! Recommend!!
