I hate when the restaurant don’t ask for spice level, thinking we are Indian at Indian restaurant, we all don’t eat the same spice level. It could be because of many factors. Learn to ask for the spice level.
It’s a small restaurant with just a few tables. Nice and clean.
Food: tandoori chicken was overly spiced,
chicken malai tikka was undercooked,
stuffed khumbh – took every to come.
Dahi ke kebab was great, very well done & also taste good.
Navratan korma: too sweet – I know it’s sweet but not the way it was.
Biryani – was very well cooked, very nicely done. It was too spicy. Should have been paired with raita or something to balance it off.
Chicken tikka masala was good and naans were good too.
Our server was very nice. But the service could have been better.
Overall the food quality/taste is good but could be better. Some dishes are a hit but some need more work. Felt the service is slow (may be short staffed the day I went)
We really like the tandoori chicken in appetizers. It was a bit pricey at $12.99 for three pieces, but it tasted good. In my opinion, Kadai chicken in the main course was not that great. Garlic Naan was fine although.
The restaurant was not extremely clean towards the rear end, but the primary seating area was clean. The server was very smiling and polite.
We liked the overall experience at the restaurant. Main course could have been a little better although.

Also this place is BYOB.
I asked for the item spicy & I appreciated them asking. I suppose my body physically in some sense isn’t able to handle heat like it used to, or maybe I wasn’t feeling good, as certain things were a struggle, but I didn’t break any sweat. I think I would’ve liked more spice/heat, however, I think that would’ve detracted from the flavors.
The only other thing I see missing that I would order in a heart beat, unless it is a called a different name are samosas. However, I’m unfamiliar with the various subsets of Indian culture to fully know their variety of food.
I have a feeling this place is a lot more authentic than I know, as the owner mentioned they are from New Delhi. They also explained some of the items on the table that were a small jar of pickles & another jar of onions (I think? I may be wrong here).
If in the area, be sure to stop here. If you happen to be near or around the library, you could walk here if the weather is nice out. Seriously, go here. You won’t regret it. 🙂
We arrived & was super excited to see the Igloo adorned with fairy lights , it looked surreal & gorgeous, we opened the igloo door by unzipping the door & let us in, the inside was warm & cozy with a small heater working wonders. Each Igloo setting can accomodate 4/6 guests.
FOOD :
We placed our order & was pretty happy how they served the food in less time considering they had a rush due to valentines day!! Our servers were awesome specially Ali !! We carried our own wine bottle , they provided us wine glasses & opened the bottle for us too, for starters we ordered “Bhatti-da-murg”, the plate had 5/6 big chunks of meat, served with onions & chutneys, the meat was flavor packed & melted in the mouth , its must try item in their menu, we ordered A lamb boti kebab plate in the appetizer, the charred smell of the tandoor & the marinated chunks had a flavor burst inside the mouth, though I felt the meat was little chewy, it could have been more soft!!
Next for entree we ordered Garlic naan & butter Naan & a Goat curry which was average neither bad nor out of the world..but I would certainly go back for their appetizers!! By
