Master Joe’s is a great sushi restaurant. After comparing many sushi places online, this place was cheaper than some of the competition, but still higher than the small strip mall places. However, the food was really good. We loved the seaweed salad, The Black Pearl Roll was very tasty, and also the Mississipi Roll was yummy. The gyoza appie was good too! The presentation was artistic and atmosphere was on par with this level and type of restaurant. Jordy was a super nice waitress, took the time to talk to us, and laughed with us a few times, thank you.

Popped in for lunch after visiting a relative in the hospital. My server was very attentive and put my order in quickly. My sushi was delicious — very fresh, they didn’t overdo it with the rice, and very high quality fish. Will definitely be back!

The family came in on new year’s eve and were carefully attended during a busy holiday like this! Drinks were fabulous and the sushi didn’t disappoint becoming some of the best we had ever had! Would definitely recommend the russian revolution, the titanic, the Mississippi, and the christmas! All absolutely delicious! Would definitely come back!

This was a wonderful experience. My God-daugter invited me to Master Joe’s. She ordered steak hibachi with the soup and I had chicken and shrimp with the salad. Food presentation is everything. Servers attitude, atmosphere, and willingness was top notch. So thank you for having a beautifully tucked secret in Fairhope.
One thing next time we come is I will ask for my Broccoli to be cooked just a little longer. But I still give them 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ on everything

High-quality sushi experience in a small, welcoming atmosphere. Convenient location in downtown Fairhope. Nice selection of current pop music playing through the speakers, but quiet enough as to not obstruct conversation. Good service – our drinks were frequently topped off.
I had the 3 sushi roll lunch special with ginger salad. For my sushi rolls, I chose the Boston roll, Alaskan roll, and Spicy Eel Avocado roll. They were each excellent and I would order all three again. I think the Alaskan was my favorite, but only due to personal preference.
My wife had the chicken and beef hibachi (teppanyaki) lunch special. It was very good and would be a crowd pleaser for those who aren’t into sushi. The miso soup she got was also great.
I highly recommend Master Joe’s to Japanese/sushi fans or anyone looking for a calm dining experience!
