We have become really disappointed over our last few visits. We were temporarily living near the original location in Statesville and loved their pizza. We were excited when they moved to Stony Point since we were building our house there. I have not had the same experience at the new location. Our orders are never ready when we arrive and the quality of ingredients seems to have gone down though the price has gone up. Our visit today has done us in for a while. We placed our online order at 5:52 and it was immediately accepted by Jay’s with a 25-35 minute wait. My husband went to pick up the pizza and was told at 6:20 that the order had just been received and it would be another 20-30 minutes. This is the second time in a row that we have arrived within the instructed time and been told another 20-30 minutes. To top this trip off, one of the pizzas had been dropped and all of the cheese and toppings were in the corner of the box when I got home from the second trip to pick the pizza up an hour after ordering.

The food was terrible. Staff treated the rats there better than me. It was nasty on the inside cockroaches on the walls and ground mysterious white liquid on the ground. Saw one staff member scratched his head while making the pizza, and another staff member had no gloves on handling the toppings.

I tried Jay’s Pizza from their 1st location years back after my wife had an issue with the staff and gave them a 3 star rating on yelp.
Recently tried their new location because they deliver to my house. The first time we did pick up on their opening weekend and wasn’t the best but understandable. Ordered last weekend for delivery. The website didn’t allow for future deliveries so it arrived two hours before I wanted it but not their fault.
The pizza I did get was a big improvement over when I tried it from their first location years back and opening night. It was really good. It won’t compare to real ny pizza but this is quickly becoming one of my favorite pizza spots in NC. If the pizza stays consistent and was as good as last weekend, with the prompt delivery I’ll be gaining weight fast. I usually make my own pizza at home which is better with my pizza oven but I’ll be ordering pizza at least once a month from Jay’s. Easily my go to and in my top 5 pizza places in NC

If you want low quality at a high price, this is the place for you! I’ve been here several times, and the food is always mediocre at best. The prices are sky high for what you get. The employees want you to bring the food back in order to get a refund or credit when it’s inedible. The subs are the only food on the menu I would recommend to anyone unfortunate enough to choose this place for dinner.

1st time and oh my the garlic knots are so good…the chicken Philly is awesome…friendly guys at the counter. Very clean and they have ice cream also…very pleased …it’s worth the 15 minute drive. ..

The chicken parm was average at best.
The cheese bread was just a hoagie roll split open with cheap cheese and Heavy garlic salt.
$20 for those two items is crazy. Dominos is cheaper and has better quality ingredients.
