We came here a year ago and said it was the last time we would ever be back! the food was awful and you didn’t feel at home. The experience was just not at all something we were looking for. Now fast forward to present we decided to try again after hearing about new management at the pier so we decided to give it one more try. I will say this we come here at least 3 or 4 times between Saturday and Sunday whether that’s for a burger or a pizza or maybe just an ice cream cone before we go out on the water we love it here you feel welcomed and the food is made with love and care I’ve never seen this place so packed until now and we love it look past all the old reviews and come down and try it you won’t be disappointed!

Our server Mikey was great! Nice and attentive. The atmosphere was very nice for the location, lakeside. We had the brownie and jalapeño poppers, they both came out fresh and hot! Great time.

I just have to say, when you step into the store to walk to the restaurant, the atmosphere is amazing! You’re greeted with the most friendliest faces. They make you feel at home. Now the food the burgers and fries was amazing! The burger had exceptional flavor, wasn’t dried out, and was cooked just right! The pizza is the best, in my opinion! I love the garlic butter that is cooked on the crust! James adds a lot of toppings and doesn’t short you any. Every bite, has you wanting more, even if you’re full! I love how amazing the manager, James, is! He makes sure you’re good, and asks how the food and service is. He makes sure no one leaves, disappointed!! Highly recommend eating here!

This is third time eating here this year. No comparison to last year. The new manager James is very invested and it shows. We had burgers last week that were really good. Today we ate in the resturant and had catfish and the new BBQ burger. It was all excellent. There was four of us and no one had a complaint. Everything was fresh and seasoned well. The service was attentive and pleasant. It’s nice to have a solid option for food that is reasonably priced.

We’ve eaten at the restaurant several times already and want to welcome James as the restaurant manager! He has truly done alot already to enhance the entire experience this year! Even though the menu is limited at the time, everything we’ve eaten so far has been great! The burgers and seasoned fries are very good and have been cooked to perfection each time we’ve ordered them. Pizza is great …all fresh toppings and made to your liking! Appetizers are also good which include cheese curds, fried pickles, onion rings and more. We are really looking forward to a great summer and being able to get a meal, snack, and even ice cream without having to leave the campground. By the way, the ice cream is delicious as well!! . A little sprucing up to the restaurant itself would be such a huge plus as customers come to eat, drink and enjoy the water view

Food was just ok. Kind of plain with not much flavor. Washrooms were out of service so we had to walk up the hill and across the parking lot for bathroom. Not going back this year.

We ordered cheeseburger , chicken tenders, & fries. The cheeseburger was fine.. just an okay quality , but the rest was great! Fries seasoned well. The girls working there were so nice and told us exactly how long we’d wait for food. Remember it’s not fast food, so call ahead if you’re in a rush. I recommend for a decent lakeside bite to take a break from cooking / sandwiches.

The lead server saved our dinner. I wish I had gotten her name but she was fantastic.
When we got to KOA they lost our reservation and the manager was a nightmare but one of the office staff stayed late to get us all set. She is a gem. Do everything you can to make her stay.
So that was my mindset when I got there. I really just wanted to eat something and chill. But no. One of the waitresses was absolutely spastic. A customer at another table had an issue but they were polite about it. The server was not. She literally threw the food and said she’d vacuum it up later. Threw it. It was the most bizarre thing I had ever seen and I have owned restaurants myself. Treat your good employees like gold. Your lead server is gold. I know it’s tough when it’s hard to get staff but that just means the owner puts in a few more shifts, I’ve been there. But get rid of the employees dragging you down. They are costing you money because no matter how good your lead server is, I would rather jab rusty nails in my eyes than go back to that restaurant.

Service is much improved from previous experience. Food is also better. New manager takes his position serious. Pizza is great and an excellent burger. Only issues are menu needs expanded at some point and restaurant could use updating. Overall the restaurant is off to a good start this year. Thanks to James for the great service.

We ate at the Pier for the second time this season. Last time I got a burger and today we ordered pizza. The food is greatly improved from last year! One of the best burgers around. James was super friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to a great summer.
