Stopped in during the Winter Stroll in search of something warm and holiday festive. They had a sign in the window featuring the egg nog latte…it was amazing! It was $7 even, when I paid with cash. The baristas were nice, even though it was a busy night because of the event. While waiting for my drink, a couple came up saying they didn’t think their hot chocolate was “chocolaty” enough. They explained that they use the same measurement on each one (which I can attest they do, since I watched them make many before my drink). But they remade them quickly for the couple, which I thought was nice. The space is so quaint. People were hanging out talking and playing games. It is a nice coffee shop.

A very delightful coffee shop in Yuba City. Unique menu options. I ordered the Killer Bee Latte… Delicious with a cayenne kick. I love that you are able to sample coffee from different regions as well. Plenty of cozy seating and tables. Games and books are available for use while you’re visiting. If you’re lucky, you’ll have an interaction with Joe… He’ll brighten your day as you order.

Great spot with lots to offer. Amazing coffee, pastries, and food. Great setting with comfortable seats and couches to relax and enjoy great times. Also chess and other board games are available to pass time. And there is an outdoor area as well so if the inside is full, check the outside area.
Parking can be difficult at peak hours since just street parking is closest unless you are in a parking lot near by and have a short walk.

Every time I’ve been here or taken a drink to go it’s been a very pleasant experience. The coffees are so delicious and one of a kind! The food is also fresh and light. It’s a great spot to chill for a bit.

Edit: Had a not so pleasant experience ordering a drink and a piece of toast. The employee seemed to forget I was a paying customer and not her child. Everyone has a bad day but this was not the first time dealing with this employee. Overall, the drink and food was good, but the customer service experience not so much.

Steele House did not disappoint, from their amazing ambience, to the sound of vinyl records playing (which you can change from their selections), board games, great staff and of course their amazing coffee! I highly recommend Steele House Coffee.

Steele House Coffee Shop is wonderful! It has a great selection of coffee, and food. I love to play cards or do a puzzle with my grandkids or visit with friends. It has a cozy atmosphere with music playing in the background while I enjoy my French Toast Latte or my Mexican Mocha.

Superb cold brew at a reasonable price, friendly service, and an inviting patio in the back, plus little kids’ play area for those with little ones. I mean what more could you ask for? Come support local business! Thanks for making my first stop in Yuba a great one. Will be back.
