Drinks were great, and the Escovitch fish, rice and peas were very good.
Flavor profile did not meet traditional standards for the Jerk Pork, steamed cabbage, and plantains.
Sweet chili wings were drowned in a weird, sweet, tobasco-based sauce.
It was also cold. Whenever guests came in, went out, we were thrusts into the outdoors for 30 seconds (it was barely 10° last night). I’m sure the servers and bartenders are freezing during their shifts. The owner(s) should really figure out a solution for that.

One of if not the best jamaica restaurants in queens, the food is amazing, taste, presentation, and the menu is deep. not brunch that menu sucks. its also looks very nice inside, very modern look.I dont talk about price of food when it taste good, period.ok lets get back to the food, the coconut fish with bami and okoro/veg is my go to dish.tell them you want everything to be cooked in that delicious coconut sauce.customer service hmm,i really wanted to give them a one star for that, but there is a particular lady manager/owner thats always walking around asking how is the food and experience. She makes up for all the order mistakes/screw up’s the regular workers make, she is absolutely amazing. always has a smile and she knows what to say to you to make you feel at ease. she makes sure you get your order Asap.she deserves a 5 star for her service

We heard this was a cute spot so we gave it a whirl… Beautifully decorated, the Cove is very welcoming, we were seated immediately (not bad for a Friday evening)… DJ Young was already on, he’s quite the entertainer too.
We chatted a bit before we ordered. We used a QR code, which was fine , although I prefer an actual menu
We ordered a Lychee Martini, the Richman, mango wings, jerk Shrimp chicken fried rice and some fries… Everything tasted good, all the right temperature and presented very well. The staff was great as well. When it came to dancing tho…. I have no shame I was dancing almost everywhere the entire time we were there, BUT there’s really not a space that accommodates dancing, like the layout is a bit different, but the Cove is definitely a spot I’d visit again, the next time will be brunch…and then another dinner I heard there is a party room in the back, I didn’t take a peek but there were quite a few groups back there….

4 star restaurant. The vibes is nice , music is great . It’s a bit dark inside but very cozy . The seasoning on the mussels and shrimp were perfect. I do feel like it’s a bit pricey for both food items I ordered. I believe the shrimp appetizer only came with about 6 shrimps which were not a lot for the price we paid .
The drinks also were alcoholic but not strong. Which I prefer strong drinks.
I came here for the second time and the food was great and the portions are shareable .. But honestly it toook over a hour to get the food which was disappointing.

Came here on February 16th at 3:15pm. The service is terrible. Came here for seafood which I’m fully aware is made to order. After waiting for an hour the hostess comes back to me to confirms my order only to tell me that my order is unavailable and if I would like some like something else. Customer service is like threading a needle for them. Not to mention complete disregard for providing mediocre service. Establishment is aesthetically pleasing and music was good but beware if you are someone that value how and where you spend your money.

We enjoyed the music, food, and drinks. Service is a bit skow but I believe that’s because everything was freshly prepared. Will definitely return.
UPDATE: WORST BIRTHDAY EXPERIENCE!
I was so excited to return. Made a reservation for 8 ON my birthday for 4:30pm (since they “open” at 4pm). Was freezing and door locked and everyone waiting outside. Someone looked through the window and never opened the door. I called 5 times, no answer. Other people came and left very upset. Someone finally opened the door at 5pm and said they were no where near ready to serve and prepare food!!! Did I mention it was freezing outside. WE LEFT and had to find somewhere else to have my birthday dinner.

Took my mom here with the family for her birthday. The food was great and the service was excellent. The only thing that I had an issue with was the only menu we could follow was the brunch menu. If you wanted a vegetarian meal, it would have to come off the brunch menu, and that was limited. Other than that everything was really great.

The ladies sent all the men from church for fathers day dinner at this restaurant.
The restaurant was beautiful and clean. The ambiance was peaceful.
Mario, our server was great! He took care of us every step of the way. Every obstacle that came up he took care of without hesitation.
The food was amazing!
I had the jerk wings for appetizer, the coconut salmon for my entrée, and the red velvet cake for dessert and loved them.
Thank you, Mario, for excellent service and my compliments to the chef!

I ordered an oxtail pasta and it was good. The ambiance and music were good; however, they need to improve their customer service. I was part of a wedding party of 15 to 20 people, and my friend spoke with management about reserving our spot for 3pm, even though they didn’t open until 4pm, which was confirmed. We arrived at the restaurant at 3:50pm, but when we got there, no heat was turned on, and the tables were just being set, which should have already been done if you’re going to confirm reservations before opening time. They took quite a while to place the utensils on the table and bring us water. I ordered a piña colada, and for some reason, the waitress said she must have misplaced it or put it in the order somewhere else, so I never got it. The food took a long time to be prepared, which is somewhat understandable since it’s made to order for the most part. I hope that if I’m ever back in NYC and decide to try them, it will be a better experience.
