I’ve never left a review for a restaurant before but I feel like I have to for this one. I like Chipotle well enough and I have eaten at several different locations, most of which are decent most of the time, so I know what it’s supposed to taste like when made correctly. This location, relative to other Chipotles, is awful most of the time. I have tried going there more times than I should have after bad experiences just because the food quality is a toss up and it’s close to where I live and sometimes I’m willing to roll the dice. Most of the time though the food is awful. The steak is usually burnt or just has a weird taste to the point where it doesn’t taste like steak but rather just some weird indescribable mushy or rubbery garbage. I remember one time I was waiting in line watching the person working there finish my burrito and the guy behind me said, sarcastically, “wow that looks great!” because it just looked like a mass of medical waste. He was right. Today I got a bowl there and it was so bad I just chose to forego lunch and throw it away. I literally don’t think I’ve seen the same person working there twice. I have heard the owner and/or management here are awful. I believe it. I don’t think it’s the workers’ fault because it’s seems like most of them are usually brand new. Seriously avoid this place. It’s terrible.

If I were the owner of this particular chipotle I would be ashamed and embarrassed to have my name in any way be associated with this place. This place deserves to be on Gordan Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. Seriously it has gone on my personal black list after tonight. I’ve given so many chances for this chipotle because it’s the closet one by my house besides the grace street chipotle but that deserves a whole other review. I watched 5 people in the span of 10 minutes do exactly what I did tonight which is walk into this restaurant and leave with nothing. I hope someone from corporate reads this review and realizes the amount of money that is being lost at this establishment. The workers act like it’s the end of the world when asked to do something. Eye rolls, bad attitudes, terrible customer service you name it. If you can some how look past the awful customer service you won’t be able to look past the fact that they are seemingly are always out of something. You may be fine with them running out of the poorly chopped lettuce but seriously how the hell do you run out of white rice? I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on and so should you. This place desperately needs a major overhaul, I just hope someone with the power and authority that reads this cares enough to do something about it. It’s in a prime location and with the right person in charge it could be a real money maker. Chipotle I hope you’re listening.

Went here for a post workout meal for my bf and I. The guy who was cooking seemed frustrated as one of the employees who are on the line wasn’t available when I came in (he was in the bathroom). My order wasn’t complicated just two different things on each bowl as my bf is allergic to avocado and doesn’t care much for the fajita mix… anyway the guy proceeded to swear I told him to put guacamole in my bfs order after I was like no I didn’t , why would I say that if he’s allergic. He then snatches the bowl out the counter and clearly looked more irritated. He then proceeded to remake the bowl and now throws fajita mix in it after I had ordered it without. Instead of apologizing he seemed more frustrated and started to talk under his breath and stick his hand in the bowl to take the fajita mix out. I had to walk out because at that point no thank you, keep your bowl and that stank attitude!!

NO TOILET PAPER IN THE WOMEN’S BATHROOM WHICH IS AN OSHA VIOLATION. There is a grocery store and Walgreens in the same shopping center and right next door.

The food is nasty. The employees are mean. They act like you getting on their nerves while your ordering . They charged for double meat but only give you a half scoop. The food will send you to the restroom.

I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but my experience was just so bad I had to say something. I refuse to go back to this location ever since they got angry at me and told me to leave, because I came in 30-35 minutes before close. I’ve worked plenty of food service jobs and understand why employees wouldn’t want customers in customers to come in and order at the last second, but getting yelled at for coming in half an hour before close is ridiculous. I can’t imagine treating a customer like that even if they did come in at the last second. If I’m ever craving a burrito now I’m sure to go to any one of Richmond’s small businesses that all seem to have far superior food quality and don’t ruin my night for trying to pick up a quick meal.

I placed an order online for the posted “opening” time of 10:30am. First, the place doesn’t even open until 10:45. At least I would be the first order and I would expect them to not be out of everything as they normally are, right? Second, I ordered a salad…no lettuce ANYWHERE in the bowl that I was provided. No salad dressing, and the wrong protein. First order of the day was completely incorrect. The woman who handed me the bag was very pleasant though. I would miss this place if i were you.
