Donuts were tasty. We had cake donuts strawberry, berry, chocolate glazed and a chocolate iced with coconut donut that the owner threw in. And a glazed donut that was delicious
Thank You we love . The coconut one was stale the chocolate on top and the coconut was tasty but the others were fresh. We will be back to try the apple fritter and the cinnamon swirl which they both looked Delicious. And some cream filled ones.

We have been going to Sunny’s for years now and we were in the area and decided to stop by. First thing we noticed the usual owners weren’t in the store. So I believe the owners of the store changed. Ok. So we look at the Donuts. We got 2 Buttermilk bar Donuts, a cinnamon twist donut and 2 creme filled Donuts. We waited until we got home to eat them. We decided to split the bar Donuts in half. My dad split it and then ate some of it. He said it tasted off. He then picked up of other half and proceeds to saw that the donut is raw in the middle. I then split to the other to find it’s raw in the middle too. Needless to say we were so disappointed. And the fact we have been coming to this store for years and this has never happened. We are so glad we did not order any more of them in the box. It’s sad to say but we will not be coming back again.

Was a while ago now that I stopped in here… originally wasn’t going to review them. A girl who worked here had told me to stop by sometime, that they were “the best donuts in town”.
I was disappointed…
The donuts were not made fresh, and the woman working that morning (very pretty, and very friendly, so I hate leaving a negative review… but I have to be honest about my experience) took my plain donuts to the back and used store bought chocolate cake frosting to give me chocolate frosted donuts … which is originally what I went in there for. They didn’t have any, and I do appreciate her trying to make it better, but I’m pretty sure that’s not how chocolate frosted donuts are coated with their chocolate icing. I still bought the donuts and thanked her, but it was a let down to say the least.
I haven’t been back since.
It probably doesn’t help any either, that they have this donut shop crammed into the gas station… in a run-down looking addition. I think they need a proper location, and they need a late night baker who bakes all the donuts fresh for in the morning.
More variety of Donuts would be nice to, along with other baked goods, pastries, and morning goodies. They might be able to claim “Best donuts in town, and MORE!” If they could manage these things.
Then, maybe I’d come back – try them again – and then leave an updated positive review.

The sandwich we ordered was cold, a day old (based on the date on their packaging) and the donuts tasted terrible. I’m so sad we spent our breakfast money on this, we couldn’t even finish the meal. The cashier could have told us to at least heat the sandwich up before we left.

My brother lives in gaffney and he brought it to me in Columbia SC for my birthday today.
It was a very good and a very nice treat. I will be making a special trip to gaffney just to get another one!

We got these donuts for ours sons “birthday cake.” Best donuts in the WORLD! They are fresh as can be. Great flavors and options. So glad we found this shop! My six year old said “this is the BEST donut I’ve ever had!”

Donut quality has taken a precipitous decline in quality as of the past year. The once delicious maple donuts are now questionable and sloppy messes.
Sunny’s used to be the best in the upstate, a destination that I would go well out of my way to enjoy however that may be a thing of the past.
