What an amazing find in Graduate Hospital!
Every morsal of every dish we sampled was an explosion of Mexican flavor! Everything was cooked to order, piping hot, and so delicious!
Not a showy place, but a welcoming and fun neighborhood go-to with great beers on tap, an amazing vibe, and JUST the best hospitality! Our server was amazing❤️ and so engaging!
Head on over to this little jewel at the corner of 22nd and Carpenter! You’ll be glad you did… you keep going back!
…And don’t forget the churros for dessert!

Totally bizarre experience. Went here on a Friday night with three friends. Off the bat, they were out of cola/diet cola, lemons, the fish for the baja tacos, and hot sauce. At a Mexican restaurant. We got about 6 packets of hot sauce for our entire table. The waitress was not very knowledgeable, I’m going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she was new, because she struggled on pretty much every part, from taking orders to menu knowledge. The food was average- not horrible but nothing memorable.
We were asked several times if we were ready for our check, while still eating and drinking (our bill was around $200). It was about 9PM- the website said they were open until 11PM, but at 9:30 we were told it was last call. The staff (including our own waitress) were all drinking at the bar and doing shots. Listen, I’ve worked in restaurants for years and know staff sometimes have a drink at the end of the shift, but this seemed excessive.
Overall, not worth the money and definitely won’t be back, which is a shame because I live very close.

Been to Los Camaradas a bunch of times in the past few years, probably starting six months after they first opened. Place is one of the best Mexican spots in the city and the staff are always easy to work with, friendly, and the food is great. Seriously, it’s great to see a place that says “okay – Mexican AMERICAN food (or TexMex) isn’t really Mexican food (though it’s obviously a descendant) – let’s embrace what the Gringos like, do it well, add in traditional things and not pander to one crowd or the other. Just good food, reliable, consistent, and with a passion for real quality and impeccable service.

We love it here. We get the same thing pretty much every time: nachos (the best!!) and chicken fajitas. The burritos are also a generous size and are tasty. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, servers are very friendly. I wouldn’t go to Los Camaradas if you are looking for a world class experience; they’re perpetually under-staffed so things take time. But vibes are immaculate, food is good and affordably priced, and the people (staff and customers) are always pleasant. Plus there’s always leftovers!!

If you post your hours of operation, it’s important to adhere to those hours. It is NOT professional to independently determine that there “isn’t enough business” to remain open and arbitrarily close because you want to go home. A lot of us don’t eat at 6pm.

I went here yesterday night for dinner. The service wasn’t ideal. The food came quick but the server wasn’t very polite. We ordered the nachos which tasted amazing and the quesadilla which was good as well. For drinks we got margaritas. They have a very limited drink menu so that was disappointing. Aside from the service, the food came which & was good!

Los Camaradas, nestled in Philadelphia’s Graduate Hospital neighborhood, is a culinary gem that offers an authentic taste of Mexico. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted by a vibrant ambiance, with decor that transports you straight to the heart of Mexico. The menu boasts an array of dishes that speak to the diversity and richness of Mexican cuisine. Each plate is a celebration of flavors, expertly crafted and beautifully presented. Not to mention, their drink selection is equally commendable. The margaritas, in particular, are a must-try, balancing sweetness, tang, and the perfect kick of tequila. The staff exudes warmth and hospitality, ensuring every guest feels at home. Whether you’re seeking a casual evening with friends or a romantic date night, Los Camaradas offers an experience that’s both delightful and memorable. If you find yourself in the Graduate Hospital area, don’t miss out on this fantastic Mexican-inspired haven.

Food and drinks were really good, service was on the slower side. Great happy hour everyday from 4-7. Nice atmosphere for just chilling and catching up with friends.

It was a simple mistake on an item I was charged incorrectly. He got very cold and defensive. I thought it was weird since he was nice before. And he still didn’t correct it when he bought me the receipt. I’m never coming back again!!!
