Sunday family evening meal. I have only given the Atmosphere three stars, because at the time of our visit, only two tables were occupied. A couple more tables being occupied would have really brought the restaurant to life. Food and service was excellent. All members of my family really enjoyed the meals and evening, they intend to return in the near future.

Best indian restaurant we have been to. Service was incredible, atmosphere amazing and good quality was exquisite. All the staff were super friendly and made you feel so comfortable. The food also is so fresh and so different from an Indian takeaway in the best way possible. Definately will return. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

This isn’t the worst Indian meal I’ve eaten but it’s pretty close. We had poppadoms followed by Raga Gosht for me and something similar for my wife. The poppadoms were not particularly crisp, somewhat soft in places. My main meal was akin to slightly spiced porridge with the lamb chunks being very fatty. My wife’s meal was more flavoursome but only just. The worst part came when we asked for the bill. The waiter kept saying he’d be there in 2 minutes then immediately found something else more interesting to do. We ended up asking 3 times and waiting over 15 minutes. In the night I had stomach cramps followed by an upset stomach as did my wife the next day.

We met an old friend for a curry tonight, we are winchester and they southampton so we met in the middle and decided to try this place after driving past for years. Initially was a little worried from a few of the reviews but id like to say we were extremely happy with the quality of food and attentive friendly service. It wasnt very busy but had a good few tables taken giving a nice atmosphere.
It also seems a few of the negative reviews seem to be fake as the alot of the names seem to be generic names with 1 review accounts…. who knows, definatly doesnt correlate where I just ate. So thanks guys thumbs up from me. If in the area would come again

Staying at the Holiday Inn diagonally opposite with our young family, we fancied an early evening curry. There was a wide variety of choice of dishes and drinks, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Very tasty and good value for money. We look forward to heading back, next time we’re in town.

Working in the area so we decided to visit. I think we must have picked a really quiet time as we were the only people in there so it’s a little difficult to judge the atmosphere! The staff were really helpful and dishes were served quickly as you might expect in a near empty restaurant. The prawn masala was ok, and the starters included sesame prawns which again were ok and onion bhajis which were as you’d expect. The food was of a ‘no frills’ standard, perfectly acceptable but to elevate it to higher levels the flavours, presentation and atmosphere would need to be transformed. However we had a pleasant visit and it has potential for sure.

We have just had a takeaway from this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. A mid-week takeaway can be a gamble, especially when it comes to a curry. We decided to roll the dice and try Badi Mirchi for the first time and were glad we did.
The mixed grill was well cooked, many places over cook this dish but Badi Mirchi got it spot on.
The keema naan was one of the best I have had, no mean feat!
Our daughter praised the dhaal as being tasty and not overly spiced.
All in all a good experience and we will definitely be ordering again.

The butter chicken we had for take away was very delicious and contained lots of chicken. The naan bread was also very delicious.
