A place where you want to photograph your food! Delicious!!! I had a savory crepe, “The Hollywood”. The sauce was incredible!!! And the staff was cheerful and friendly. The Latte was almost too beautiful to drink. But I did

The Spanish speaking barista and wait staff here are incredibly friendly in talking my order in Spanglish. I am always grateful when people try to work with you through language barriers with a warm enthusiastic smile. I tried the Mexican mocha latte costing $8 out here in the valley. While the espresso was a bit thin and weak, I did appreciate the effort of the barista put in filling the latte art with cocoa powder. It turned out a beautiful drink nevertheless. The space is also decked out with artifacts from different time periods that adds a variety of character to the cafe.

The food here is very good, I have been here twice, and both times were not a disappointment. The coffee is also very good it has an original taste. There is one small minor thing that they use crumble bacon that it doesn’t taste home bake. I have used crumble bacon from the bag, and they are a bit hard to chew on. But this minor thing does not disturb the good taste of the food.

Searched for coffee shops near me and found this place just a few miles from my relatives house. I loved the pics and the vibe so I went and checked it out.
I love me a good Mazapan Frappe (Mazapan is a peanut candy) and their Mazapan Frappe was absolutely delicious, thick and sweet, but not overpowering.
The interior had a few options with different vibes, we chose the comic room which had renderings of superheroes on the walls.
Amazing experience and plan to return next time Im in Calexico.

Very bad experience, the memorial crepas were dry, they literally had nothing in them it was just the pancake, my mother payed $61 for this and it was a huge disappointment, for the people who prepared our food, please do a better job at this, especially when we order something expensive, once again this was a very disappointing and dissatisfying surprise for us when we open the to go boxes at our home.

Unique Mexican ambiance. Several cozy spaces and types of seating. Friendly staff. Bomb café de olla (I had it iced with a splash of milk) – highly recommended. I hear the raspberry iced tea is good too. Croissant sandwiches are yummy and come with a side of nachos and fresh fruit or ice cream. Unknowingly ended up spending over 4 hours here and they didn’t intimidate us to leave and kept checking in on us. Great experience.

Best place in Calexico to enjoy a cup of your favorite style of coffee, crepes, and to indulge in the beautiful decor, bringing in cultures of 40s American, Mexican, French Parisian, Comic books, and a Hollywood scene. A must for tourists.

It is unusual to find such a wonderful, quaint place like this in Calexico. The business is located in what used to be a house. The rooms were converted with tables, chairs, and sofas. They have a very warm and inviting feel to it. I was very pleasantly surprised. My food was delicious and fresh. My café de la hoya was brought with heated cream on the side. The love and care placed on my order was very appreciated! I highly recommend it.

A nice place! It is different from other cafe I went to. The only thing is that you probably need to wait for a kind of long time after you ordered. But if you have some leisure time and want to relax, that is a good option. I just tried something made by the owner, it is new and it has not come up to the menu. This is really the fruit punch! Other punches are nothing!
