I normally don’t leave reviews, but tonight’s experience was unacceptable and a concern for anyone who cares about food safety.

My husband and I went in to try the new Grinch meal. The Sheboygan Falls location is usually slow in the lobby, they neglect the lobby and really only care for the drive thru so I expected a little wait however, what my husband saw was just wrong. While we were waiting, he saw a worker walk out with two bags, then two customers come back inside and return the same bags of food. Mistakes happen, so I didn’t think much of it at first.

When my order from the kiosk wasn’t coming out, I asked about it. The woman who appeared to be the manager handed me the two bags that were sitting under the heat lamp. I specifically asked her if this was the same food the other customers had brought back, and she insisted it was not, saying, “My people would never do that.”

When I got to the table and opened the bag, there was a crinkled straw wrapper inside clearly showing that this bag had already been handled by someone else.

At that point, I realized the manager had lied directly to my face. Not only was my order very slow, but apparently they are willing to give out food that was previously returned. That is a health concern and completely unacceptable.

Because of this experience, my husband and I will not be returning to this location. I’m sharing this so others are aware please double check your food. Returned orders should never be given to the a customer, and customers should never be lied to when they ask a direct question.

This location has lost my trust.

I place an order for a double quarter pounder and a crispy chicken sandwich. I show up literally 1 minute later as im staying right next door about 1000ft away. They brought me out as soon as I parked my food. Side note quarter pounders are cooked to order not pre-made. I knew immediately all they did was microwave this already cooked for probably hours burger. It tasted like a hockey puck put in a microwave and the chicken was hard as a rock and of course they won’t answer their phones. This place sucks a bag of tartar sauce.

If you want to wait 15+ minutes on none busy times, love rude workers, don’t care that you won’t get what you ordered this is the McDonald’s for you. I live 1 minute from here for the past 4 yrs. It’s NEVER GOTTEN BETTER. I stop coming here for a few months & then go back, it only gets worse. Read the other reviews. It’s a major issue at this location. Oh & don’t bother going for ice cream. The machine is always in maintenance!

Listen, the staff has always been really nice, but I get breakfast here before work quite a bit and it is really slow about half the time. A couple of days ago the window worker directed me to park to the side and it took such a long time to get my food that I was forced to ABANDON the breakfast I’d already paid for or I’d be late for work. I ordered a sausage muffin and a hash brown, both of which should be ready immediately compared to other meals.

In reply to the response here: I filled out the response yesterday or the day before. Haven’t heard anything. Just filled it out again.

I don’t know why the folks working here are so spiteful, but damn. I just watched an elderly lady ask for napkins on a takeout order. The employee refused to believe the customer.

The customer then emptied her bag in front of her employee to show the employee her carryout order had napkins.

Are napkins that serious of a coveted item? Corporate certainly must have an established rule for how many napkins per item ordered.

Previous visit: What’s up with the employees wearing Kandi and keeping their personal drinks in the work space? You can’t properly wash Kandi while serving food.

I saw so many safe food handling rules broken while standing here. Yikes. No wonder this place has so many complaints with food safety.

Every time I come here I ask myself why am I doing this to myself. Of course the answer is that I have children and live in Sheboygan Falls, so they’re just aren’t very many options. I can’t remember the last time I came here that my order was actually correct the first time.

The price is expensive. The food comes out cold. You know its bad when you have enough points to get something for free and you won’t because you know how bad it will be. Hot cakes come out cold. The word Hot is in the description.

From my last experience, I’m pretty sure my kids and I got food poisoning from this location . We walked in and were served by an older gentleman who had been mopping. No one was at the register at that moment, so he stopped mopping to come help us. We got only ice cream cones which were served by him, but I’m pretty sure he did not wash his hands prior to serving us. I was busy with my kids to focus on how he did his job. I’d assume he would take the proper steps to ensure sanitary service, but it doesn’t seem like that was the case. We all got sick shortly after, and after thinking about what the last thing we ate – the ice cream – and the conditions of how we were served, it made sense.
