Well, talk about feeding your soul!!!
I went to there soul food buffet on Saturday and oh my goodness, my whole family was talking about it!
Yall, this is the place and there prices were well worth it.
About $22 for each person for the buffet.

Fight for your Rights
First I want to say that it’s breaks my heart to write this review but I do believe that if we know better then we will do better….
With that being said..
Came to this establishment for a birthday celebration, the layout was very nice and the staff was very hospitable at entrance. After being seated it took approximately 15 minutes before someone acknowledged us at the table and took our order. I ordered wingettes(all flats)
as an appetizer and my husband and I both ordered the fried fish with Yams, Mac and cheese and Mashed Potatoes. With “Fresh Lemonade”
Now here is where it goes downhill..
After 45 minutes a very sweet lady comes to us and say that the kitchen is “backed up” I asked her if we could at least get our beverages. She comes back with the hottest and nastiest lemonade ever. I laughed because it said “fresh” and clearly this was some Country Time Lemonade that wasn’t properly diluted. Another 20 minutes goes by and I told them if the food hasn’t been made then forget it because at this point I was completely over it.
Another nice lady comes and asked me to just be patient and our food was coming. I totally should’ve went with my gut and just left. The wingetts were disappointing and the presentation had much to be desired. The fish was hard and had an aftertaste that maybe came from the fish being out too long prior to being fried. Yams were disgusting. I got up and left. My husband got the check and laughed as we paid $70 for a wait of over an hour and nasty food. My suggestion is this, if someone is using your establishment for a birthday dinner, streamline the menu and be prepared for the number of guests invited. Organization is key and this business doesn’t have it. I pray that management gets it together because I want all businesses to succeed.

Attended a baby shower there. Ample and secure parking plus handicap spaces. Nice Soundsystem and stage . Lots of room to space out guests.

We went to celebrate my birthday. We had a great time. The food was great and had plenty for us to take home. Meaning, there is enough food on your plate for leftovers, no complaints. The staff is super friendly and very polite. They were there to ask any questions and what we needed. The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. We will come back to celebrate my mom’s birthday. My cousins came to visit for the weekend before they left they wanted some good soul food, I heard about this place etc so we went here!! The food was delicious and very courteous staff (you rarely get these days)… everyone from the greeter to the kitchen staff kept asking was everything ok, heck we were to busy eating and smacking to answer lol. I’m so happy I chose this place for dinner, my family is very picky but they thoroughly enjoyed the food etc!!!!!!

Do not let the price scare you. The food is awesome, and 1 meal can serve 2 people. Well worth it. Kinda like the soul food version of a Ruth’s Chris..

The food is good,the staff is friendly and it is a good atmosphere to dine.I like that they want to make sure that you are satisfied.I have so far tried the ribs,wings and all of the vegetables and they are good but the yams and corn pudding is a little to sweet for me.My next visit I will try the smothered pork chops and turkey wings which a friend has said is delicious and seasoned well.I’m looking forward to my next visit.
